Ive been very sick in the past and the one thing that i hated the most is when people treat me differently or talk to me as if im not normal. That was probably the best thing Chuck could say. All that kid wants is to be treated like everyone else.

Seriously? This kid has fought and given others a perspective we all need. He has brought people together fighting his battle, and doing it through the power of sports. You have to be heartless to not be inspired and grateful to this kid for sharing his story. I don't know who you are, but before you hate on someone that is making our world a better place, ask yourself what you are doing and how Grateful you are for your life. Your comment is truly disgusting and selfish.

@@drew888843 He's not fighting a battle, he has a tragic illness. He can't fight it, that's why it's tragic. And I'm not hating on him, I'm hating on the sports teams that cart cancer patients out to motivate their teams and the networks that bring them on to get cheap views and feel good about themselves.

  • @drew888843

@@savvytactics7740 Tragic yes. Not fighting, you are crazy, do some research on this kid and know how hard he has fought and continues to fight. I am a part of the Purdue community and this kid was a die hard Purdue fan and he was embarrassed because he bleeds gold and black. Sports isn't using him as a trophy to get ratings, sports and people are getting inspired to help others, find a cure, and show the world how we should treat each other. I'm sure you want to just turn on sports and not think about the pain in our world, but we need to be reminded of that stuff to fight for each other to find cures for these diseases. Sports is one thing that brings people together, its vital we use that togetherness to fight and find cures, inspire people, and care for one another, because as humans, that's the right thing to do.
