I always thought that Kanye West, or at least part of him, was dead in the narrative of Yeezus, hence the screaming in I Am a God and many references to resurrection. Yeezus, to me, seems like it was meant to sound like a computer approximating all the worst parts of the god complex that was his undoing. Since hearing that self-aware masterpiece, I'd always wondered what an AI album of Michael Jackson would sound like. It'd be disrespectful AF, but I wanna hear that darkness.

YEEZUS is a redemption album. The story puts forth a character that is a representation of Kanye’s feelings, short-comings, and successes. There’s very little fluff on YEEZUS and it’s genuinely one of his best albums.
