I love this version of The Hype! And what always blows my mind is how low key Tyler was about the fact that they were going to be headlining Lollapalooza Berlin AND that he would have enough energy to go back to the studio after the concert to finish. I’m not sure how many artists would do that. I love seeing his reconstructed/deconstructed versions of his songs. It really showcases his talent and creativity. Tyler is one of a kind. And he is still completely hands-on with nearly every aspect of their live shows. Then when you combine that with Josh’s energy behind the drums, the experience is unreal. Their concerts are next level. And they continue to foster a deep connection with their fans. They don’t take any of it for granted. A fun tidbit - this was the show when Tyler announced that his wife Jenna was expecting their first child Rosie 🥰 She was born right before the pandemic hit. So he spent much of quarantine learning how to be a dad (and of course wrote SAI). They now have 2 little girls and he tries to take them out on the road with them whenever possible.

Oh yes!!! Take him back to the beginning!!! Best live music and I am 53 and seen a TON of bands and talented bands before autotune! TOP is the best live show!! Tyler's writing is mind blowing. I can't wait!

I agree! Seen many big named bands over the years, many genres, but twenty one pilots is hands down the best live.

Did you know Josh controls the entire concert for every show? He’s starting and stopping the the background music, changing all the beats and even controlling the nights. Plus much more, so, don’t forget to give Josh his credit. Tyler is on a different level though lol. Good video fellas, cheers

you should react to their mtv unplugged performance if you haven't already! Lots of people were saying that it made them fall in love with the band again because of how they reinvented some of their singles.

great reaction :) in keeping with this theme, would love to see Corey's reaction to TOP's other reimagined versions - specifically Storyteller Performances, Mutemath, Live Lounge, and mtv unplugged. Going back, I would suggest Vessel before the early TyJo work. Really can't go wrong with any TOP though. 💙🤍💙

Loving this journey you guys are going on. My suggestions would be Holding on to You live at Fox Theater (so much better than the official video imo) and Ode to Sleep.

I have some thoughts.. Kitchen Sink is sort of a crucial piece of the puzzle that is tøp. I would also play him Blasphemy, Save, and Drown from NPI. Implicit Demand for Proof, Isle of Flightless Birds from Self-Titled. Guns for Hands(studio version) and Holding onto You(w/music video) from Vessel. Also, Before You Start Your Day and/or Truce. Fall Away, live, with Dr. Blum of MrWives (the original live version, not the more recent ones.) Ode to Sleep (with the music video). To give an idea of the scope of their growth trajectory, and also to illustrate how Tyler composes. Time to Say Goodbye would give a lovely glimpse of his creativity. The live performance of Trees from the Fox Theatre. From Blurryface, definitely Lane Boy and Goner. From SAI, No Chances and Redecorate.
