Juice Boxx what actually happened is that teens that are like 16 just arent stron enough to hold him up. And then he fell down on top of the teens. You can hear them screaming. Then people tried to put him back up, and his shirt ripped. There was also a drunk guy near those teens. And he started getting aggressive so Tyler yelled "BACK OFF" so the guy wont hurt the teens. And he didnt cut the show short. The managers of the show were telling him through his earpiece "You're going overtime!! You need to end the show already!" And so he ended it.

It’s not what actually happened. Teens were not strong enough to hold Tyler so he fell on them. There was a drunk guy who started getting aggressive and that’s why Tyler yelled “Back off”. And it wasn’t his intention to stop the show, managers told him to do so. There’s a whole video explaining what happened there.

Some people are defending the crowd but Tyler clearly said "Stop it, stop it" and that clearly means something was happening. His shirt was ruined and they purposely poured beer on him, they screamed in his microphone and completely disrespected him. Despite the abuse, he was still cool about it, he didn't yell at anyone or anything, which actually some what pisses me off because how can you be so kind after something like that. I also felt bad for Josh because he couldn't do anything, even if he tried to dive in there the crowd probably would've swallowed him too. Seeing him having to watch everything is absolutely heartbreaking. If you're going to a concert just to be out of control instead of screaming the lyrics, then don't go ruin the experience for not only the fans but for Tyler. That wasn't him saying that. I heard security say stop it, but everything else was the crowd yelling into the mic.. And of course security was freaking out cuz he is the person they are there for and he fell into the crowd. This would happens all the time to people who crowd surf. It is just normal, and a risk you take when you are out in the crowd like that. People are going to be grabbing you and touching you and pulling at you. If you can't take it, don't do it in the first place.

Yes I am now aware it's the security, but he is also screaming "get off", "don't touch me there", etc. he trusted the clique to lead him where he needed to go and they let him down. This isn't Tyler's fault.

I feel like i should make it clear that not everyone is this particular crowd is a fan of theirs. In the uk, the song theyre still really known for is stressed out, i personally dont know anyone who knows more than two songs other than myself. The crowd is mostly drunk ravenous guys who think its all just a bit of 'banter' and any member of the clique that were nearby were probably so upset that they would have been doing everything in their power to help. Reading and leeds is unfortunately just not the place to crowd surf (im definitely not blaming tyler, he obviously just wasnt aware what kind of animals go to the festival)

They didn't say that. The security guards were telling the drunk people to "Get off" of Tyler and to "Stop it" (as in stop hounding him). They then turned to Tyler and asked "are you alright?" They were asking Tyler if he was okay. Most people in Britain use "Are you alright" instead of "Are you okay"

Livvy twentyonepilots i saw a video right after from a fan at the concert. they said that tyler accidentally fell while crowdsurfing and his shirt got fucked up by drunk guys who weren't fans. also they said that the show ended because they went over their set time.

How could anyone ever do anything like that? He fully trusted the audience and they betrayed him. Ripping his shirt apart, screaming into the mic, pouring liquids over him. It's heartbreaking. And him screaming for them to stop and them not listening! I feel so so bad for him, and for Josh that could do nothing but watch. Him having anxiety doesn't make the situation any better. I'm glad it didn't go worse.

Actually, it was a misunderstanding. People were trying to hold him up, and as a result, they spilt the drinks on him, and tore his shirt. I'm sure that no one did it intentionally.

I understand your points but I assume you have never been to a festival. At festivals lots of young people go and get extremely intoxicated whether that be drugs or alcohol. They were simply not sober enough to balance or think straight which is why this happened sadly.

This is not what happened! I was very close, close enough to have a good look and to hear what was happening. The audience around where he begun to crowdsurf was not strong enough. Tyler sunk and they attempted to pull him up. This ripped his shirt. There was only one drunk guy but the kids and teens were pretty good at keeping Tyler away from him. The guy kept hitting Them and touching them so that he could hold Tyler that's why you can hear Tyler yelling.

What would go through a persons mind to attack someone so special to alot of people? Tyler could have been seriously injured and did you see his shirt? And the way Josh looked over at Tyler in pure horror and when Tyler called out for Josh. Just imagine if your best friend was getting physically abused by drunk people. Poor Tyler..he gets disrespected,his shirt ripped,shoe taken off,microphone taken and yelled into by drunk people. These people weren't even there for TØP but for a party. The fan base wouldn't have done that. Some screams were from people who were crushed by Tyler,and Tyler fell due to the lack of people in the back. Some people were drunk,and weren't there for TØP!! Tyler has anxiety,which didn't help in this situation. He got torn to shreds and he just wants his fans to be happy. How can someone that has gone through so much be so nice and gentle? Poor Tyler.Some people have said they heard Tyler scream for Josh,but no. He didn't. That was a fan screaming for Josh. I just feel so bad for Tyler. I just don't understand some people. This absolutely broke my heart. Tyler Joseph is a human being who just wants to play music. He tried so hard to entertain those people and for what? For him to have his shirt ripped off? Or for beer to get poured on him and his shoe stolen? That's not okay. And just imagine what it feels like to see your best friend like that. To see someone you created a career with, someone you care about, being torn to shreds by people who said they were your fans? People who know your songs and say that you saved their life, are out there harassing your best fren. And the only thing you can do is keep on drumming. Ok so alot of them wouldn't have been their fans for a start because it was a festival where loads of different bands play. Second 98% of the crowd would have been drunk or high or both which is why they were not able to hold him up. When you are highly intoxicated it can be difficult for you to keep your own balance let alone carrying someone else weight ontop of you. And because of this when him and the crowd feel they inevitably spilled some of their beer on him(I'd like to see you fall and manage not to spill an open cup). Also because of everyone being drunk and high they *accidently* ripped his shirt. And I believe his shoe fell off but I'm not one hundred percent sure. I just want it to be clear that it was not an attack it was an accident because people were intoxicated which is a normal thing for festivals. And it wasn't the bands fault either for not knowing that people would be too intoxicated to take part like that.

I was actually there, and (looking away from everything Josh and Tyler did) it was a fucking horrible time. There were so many drunk people that didnt give two fucks about TØP and were only there for "a party" because of an energetic fanbase. During the show (durning lane boy im pretty sure) HUGE amounts of the crowd got pushed (still dont know what happened) over and people got smothered, there was a moshpit that people got pushed into (I was so fucking close and im tearing up jfc) so many clique members were panicked and sobbing trying to leave this massive mess of people. If it werent for the really strong camper guy that was behind me and picked me up and talked to me I wouldve had such a terrible panic attack and i feel so sorry for the other clique members that went alone and werent as lucky. Twenty One Pilots are fucking heroes for pushing through what they have been through/go through. The "we are twenty one pilots and so are you" at the end of the show fucking pull me through

This really pisses me off... they had NO respect for Tyler, who has done so much for all of the clique, and I'm extremely disappointed in any clique members who did that to Tyler. (I'm aware that some weren't real fans and that it wasn't a TØP concert) I'm really upset at how they tore up his clothes, dropped him multiple times, yelled into his microphone, and did who knows what else. I hope that Tyler is okay now and that this never happens again. Like I said before, I'm extremely disappointed and mad.

Fan Warrrior 13 It was bc there were not enough people to hold him up so they tried really hard to lift him up and accidentally ripped his shirt (and I think his shoe fell off?). People were actually collapsing because it was too hard to lift him up. Not all of them were strong men, some of the people there are just teenagers so stuff like this can happen.

Then people tried to put him back up, and his shirt ripped. There was also a drunk guy near those teens. And he started getting aggressive so Tyler yelled "BACK OFF" so the guy wont hurt the teens. And he didnt cut the show short. The managers of the show were telling him through his earpiece "You're going overtime!! You need to end the show already!" And so he ended it.

This only occurred because it was at Reading and Leeds which is a festival. That basically means that there was A LOT of alcohol being consumed which resulted in numerous drunk people. Some people in the pit weren't exactly fans and many of them were just drunk and out of control. This would never happen at a normal twenty one pilots concert because i'm pretty sure no one would get drunk and everyone at the concert would be a fan especially if they were willing to buy a ticket just to see them. Therefore, they would help Tyler not assault him.

He went into the crowd with the microphone in his hand and, from personal experience, when a hyped fan gets hold of the mic, they'll probably shout things into it (mostly the song lyrics, band member names or "I LOVE YOU!" or something similar). I have no idea if he was attacked or not, but I can guarantee you that was a fan's voice. Hope this helps👌

Ok I don't know why people are saying he wasn't attacked because if you listen closely he's screaming the words "get off" and you can also hear security say "stop it, stop it," so obviously the fans were doing something to him that they shouldn't have been doing. And also, how would Tyler have know to stop the show because of time issues? Glenda Pøker what actually happened is that teens that are like 16 just arent stron enough to hold him up. And then he fell down on top of the teens. You can hear them screaming. Then people tried to put him back up, and his shirt ripped. There was also a drunk guy near those teens. And he started getting aggressive so Tyler yelled "BACK OFF" so the guy wont hurt the teens. And he didnt cut the show short. The managers of the show were telling him through his earpiece "You're going overtime!! You need to end the show already!" And so he ended it.
