This guy’s vulnerability is so so lovable and admirable.

I took care of his grandmother for several years until her passing. She was precious, but a tiny firecracker. It was during the peak of his career and she was so proud of him.

I've never seen DJ outside of films and it was great seeing how down-to-earth he is and even though he is famous he isn't shallow and is very intelligent, straightforward, well-spoken, and mature. How very likable he is and I enjoyed his reading very much.

I was 10 when I found my grandfather dying of a massive heart attack. You never get over that. Never. This reading was so special for him which he so needed. I would give anything for Tyler to do that connection for me. I’ve always felt guilty that I couldn’t help him. I didn’t know CPR & didn’t really know what was happening. I miss him as much today as the day he died and it’s as vivid in my mind as it was that day in 1973. I was his shadow. He was my hero. He was in WWII and was bigger than life to me. I was so blessed to live next door to my grandparents so I saw him every day of my life for 10 years. I cannot wait to see him again at Heaven’s gate. ❤

I can't even imagine. I was 31 when I found my father's body, and it took me down. I dropped like a lead balloon.

I always liked DJ as an actor, but his vulnerability and humbleness make him so much more lovable

I’ve always loved DJ’s acting. But seeing him here has endeared him to me even more. He’s such a pure, kind soul. ❤

Like Tyler I have never heard of DJ, however I think this was one of my favorite reads that I have seen Tyler do. They were both so genuine and seemed to help each other. Tyler helped DJ remember his grandfather and how much he loved him and DJ helped Tyler to be appreciated and realize how much his talent is needed. Now I have to look DJ up and see what I've been.

His roles in hustle n flow and the new guy were my favorite roles he's ever done!!
