This episode make me think of my dad too, I lost him 6 months ago to lung cancer. And it was hard to see in that 6 months how he change drastically so heartbreaking!! 😢

I just wanted to hug her when she broked down ❤. I know the feeling when it comes to those situations about dealing with grief with love ones. Its not easy, but I loved & enjoyed this interview and Kimberly so much ❤

I miss my aunt so much she was the glue that stuck us all together as a family and we were united and a team. But now that she's gone everyone doesn't come together as much. My aunt made the best Christmas trees and holdiays were her thing. She loved doing it for us. She died almost I think 4 years ago I think something like that. I miss her a lot. I use to talk with her every morning on Facebook. She always wore a smile on her face no matter what she was going through. She died because of her heart. My dad and uncles had to get tested to see if they had the same problem but luckily they didn't at the time of testing. Sorry this made me cry like a baby thinking of my Aunt. She is in heaven right now.

One things that is hard to accept is ago g parents and the way they care for themselves. Until they can no longer make their own choices and care for themselves you just have to leave them to their own. It is not easy to not parent your parent but let them have their own til they can't.

I know what you mean but some people are pretty stubborn. Older people, older generations like my parents age late 60’s early 70’s and older, they don’t like going to the doctor and will try to treat themselves with whatever home remedy their parents or grandparents used way back in the day. And too many times by the time they finally decide to go see a doctor, they’ve become so sick that there’s not a lot that can be done. My mother is like that, she’s been stubborn about going to the doctor even after passing out/fainting twice in a year. She’s never passed out/fainted that I know of and when she passed out the first time, the ER drs told her she needed to go see a cardiologist because it could be her heart; due to her high blood pressure and family history. She ignored their pleas to see a cardiologist and about 10-11 months later she passed out again and found out she had several arteries that were blocked 50-75% which needed stents placed and a couple other issues too. Surprisingly I’ve heard her say “I should’ve listened to the drs after the first time.” So unfortunately a lot of old timers just don’t want to go and will put it off as long as possible, I’ve learned that if I nag my dad enough about something he’ll finally go, lol! So I always say that it never hurts to lovingly (nag) try to get someone to go see the doctor.

She looks so different since she got her surgery! She is still beautiful but I loved the old look she had so I believe it when he says she can’t recognize her! Only way I’d know who she was if she said her name!!
