Perfectly said. That's exactly what happened. This kid is amazing all around. It amazes me how he can even remember all, every single word to soooooo many dern songs. The new singers basically repeat most of the words to their songs. Tyler tells a story..so freakin amazing to watch him perform.

Tell her Oneida I know that I'm younger than most but I'm willing if you got the time to buy us some wine I'll bring my guitar I've been working on learning that song youve been dying to sing bout weddings and rings I'll strum in the back and come in where I can harmonize on a line or two this song's all you

Tyler C of course but also The Steel Woods, Marcus King, Whiskey Myers, Cody Jinks, Sturgill Simpson, Jamey Johnson, John Moreland, Chris Stapleton, The Cadillac Three, Blackberry Smoke etc. It's like an underground musical revolution in response to the Clear Channel formula puke music that's been churned out since '96 or so.

I had an Oneida once...wasn't too scandalous, 18 and 26, but that verse about letting her lead and laughing at her jokes and not understanding all her movie references...yeah, there were nights like that that I still treasure, many years later. Hope she does too.
