I hope you're healing from your loss. Five years, four months and twelve days ago my wife went out shopping early in the morning. At 8 am she called me and said she had a seizure and was being taken to the hospital. As I was leaving to go there I got a call saying she suffered a major aneurysm and was being transferred. 9 days later she died peacefully. I was one year from retirement and every plan I'd made in my life just crumbled to dust. Months passed in a fog with no will to go on until a friend asked if I was interested in seeing Tyler play in West Virginia, which was where we honeymooned 23 years earlier. After a lot of excuses I decided to go and with that trip the healing began. I don't claim to know your pain, this is just my story, but I want you to know there are powers that heal and a loss like ours can be the end or the beginning of a new chapter. Hold your memories close and use them to move forward. They're a blessing, not a burden.
