I AGREE! BEST THING ABOUT MUSIC THESE DAYS

I've been a percussionist for 15 years now. I bow before a genius, musically and lyrically.

I spent a couple of hundred dollars to take my wife and a couple of friends to this show to introduce them to Tyler's music. The day before the show my wife was hit by a car while out riding her bike. It almost killed her. She pulled through and I hope one day Tyler comes back to Memphis so I can finally see him with my wife

I love Tyler Childers and the Food Stamps. I think Tyler is the best artist today. He is my favorite singer and I love every song he writes.

I knew him years ago. Called him up one day and asked him if he wanted to make a guest appearance at this small bar that I was playing a set at. Two other people made guest appearances and he was the last one and blew the roof off of the place.

TTC ADDICT like most who have discovered him! Shout out to Senora, (AKA Pioneer Woman), thanks for sharing him with us diehard fans & know that he will always come home to you, can’t fake TRUE LOVE & it shows in his eyes, words & actions! @josh Saunders Inglis and Crystal River is pretty country. I’m down in Port Charlotte just a skip and a hop away from that area. You’re lucky to have such a memorable experience hanging with Tyler and his Lady May! His music never gets old and yes Kentucky had been on a bit of a roll lately

It also means they are an extremely annoying and inconsiderate crowd. We don't pay to hear a bunch of drunk people sing.

A real man doing real shit. Its that simple. Anyone that has gone through (real) life will agree that these words resonate on a core level.

Love the voice and picking, I don't even listen to radio anymore because talent like this IS NOT on the air waves, if it was this guy would be a household name

He isn't just a great songwriter, he's also a great frontman and singer. His delivery and tone are unmatched. Raw emotion is always relatable to an audience and he don't disappoint.

xCredulence JI was my first thought as the best songwriter of his generation..just feels like TC brings a younger gen into the fold. Both equally exceptional but you’re right about Jason holding the crown. His songs are gold.

@@tybolton7672 IMO, Tyler is a better writer than Isbell (who is good), for the simple fact that he is a better story teller. Isbell relies too heavily on personal sorrow / loathing (and comes off as a bit whiney too often) to make him comparable to Childers.

I have listened to this 47 times in two weeks

Bluegrass with a TWIST. Gotta love it. Love this live arrangement. All them instruments making them licks. If your foot don’t bounce to this. YOUR DEAD!

folks say times are tough but hell, I find a new fave on KZread every damn week. this guy is a ROCK SOLID songwriter, a plenty good guitarist and sings just right for the songs he writes for us. no complaints here!

He's such a good singer, I literally thought he was lip-syncing. This is country folks, or at least what country should be.

This was my first Tyler concert and I still can’t believe how lucky we got with this set list! I was slightly obsessed with his music before the show, but now I’m happily at full-blown-addict level. Such a class act too, coming back to give the kid his guitar pick!

They will be playing his songs 50 years from now!

The song brings out a great deal of pain. That song made me a fan of Tyler.

This kind of great talents like MR.TYLER CHILDERS (or Whiskey Myers and of course Stray Cats, The living End or Social Distortion) AND THIS VIDEOS SAVED my quarantine here in the BASQUE COUNTRY! Thanx a lot for this light in this hard times. The best wishes to everybody here!!

I'm from SE KY as well, and this is Mountain Music ( with a twist )...Tyler and Chris Stapleton is roughly from the same area, along with Loretta Lynn, Dwight Yokum, Keith Whitley, etc....we've turned out some massive talent here. You can literally drive up a holler and hear guys and gals like this singing on the front porch. Even more at an old fashioned Holiness Church

Kentucky girl here! Grew up listening to front porch picking. Some of the most talented people sit in yards, at kitchen tables, in the yard, etc.. picking some stringed instrument never taking a stage. I glad we have people like Tyler Childers keeping our sound out there. :) (typically I'm a bluegrass gal tho ha)

I used to work for a contract engineering firm out of Lexington. I spent years around this area. I've been trying to plan a trip back just to see how it's changed. Tyler spent a short time I believe not far from my home in WV. He's a legend here for sure.

Love his music! I found whitehouse road accidentally last summer and I saved it to my playlist right then . I became a Tyler Childers fan that day. Have been ever since

The only way to write stuff like this is to have lived it! Damn your good Tyler!!!! I'm a hillbilly from California where we run the cuts, (roads cut with a cat d9) stay up all night and when the cops are on your heals, you run down to the river and follow it to the sea, the pigs don't like the woods or the river!

Music City Haven has made it possible for us to enjoy many awesome TTC shows that we couldn't have enjoyed! She's made these videos with no equipment.. Just her phone.. She does a terrific job!
