Burks is being saved by his draft position. He gets the benefit of doubt and other change for that reason obviously.

I don't think the Titans are "moving on" from Burks by signing Boyd (if they do). We need a legit starter right now, in the slot, and Boyd would fill that need. Everybody else is a question mark. And the Titans need some quality depth. Signing Ridley just gave us a starter opposite of D-Hop. They are also probably using the extra competition to light a fire under Burks' behind, and this is his last chance to prove he was worth a 1st Rd. pick after all. I don't want the Titans to give up on him because he has never gotten to play in an offense with a good offensive line, and of course, he has been injured. Let's hope he can finally stay healthy and Levis will have time to get the ball to him, unlike the past 2 years.

They're not signing anyone until after rookie minicamp, if then. They'll likely wait until they get to see everyone together in OTAs and position coaches get a better idea of what they have.

Burks is good depth... But at this point, i wouldnt pick up his 5th yr option? That's why you sign Boyd. He is a proven #3 wr in this league... and injuries will happen so , you keep Burks you sign Boyd... carry 7 wr if you have to? Make your st unit all recievers lol?

You have to sign Boyd or someone else Austin. Burks and Phillips are way too injury prone not to. If 1 of or both of them go down then we are back to NWI. I can't stomach that another season. 🤦‍♂️

I like nwi... he is better than Burks (not saying alot) I like him and Burks to back up dhop and ridley... rather injury or a breather. Nwi is a good role player... he is a decent player.

You draft a RT at 7 to move to LT. Then u draft a 2 down DT wigh the jntentions to have him play 3 downs last year u draft a LT and move him to LG. This is not the recipe to win championships

if thats how you look at it then they should just cut him now. The point is he has shown amazing ability in the NFL but cant stay healthy. The idea he hasnt done anything when he has played rly only applies to his sophomore yr with us and apparently he was in the dog house (running clear outs and deep ball routes more than anything). They misused him and frankly I think coaching of young in general was poor with Vrabel. We need to see what he can do with this new staff. If he hasnt done crap after this yr then trade him but dont give him away for nothing NOW, when you have him on the cheap this yr and next and YOU MUST PAY HIM that cheap contract bc its guaranteed. Let it play our this yr. The fact he is practicing great still and with the new staff is good. It shows that this isnt some lost cause.
