Me too!
So clever. I've copied your design since you first published it, and it/they work.
Absolutely love your technique Davie. You can put endless things onto the fly without ending up with a crowded head.
I love the wings on this pattern! Thanks Davie!
I love the look of this unique little midge, thank you Davie for this pattern. I’ve now got my day planned.
Thoroughly enjoying your videos and learning something new almost each time. Thank you.
Thanks Davie, very good of you to take the time to put these up at present!
That’s an absolutely gorgeous fly! Love this pattern! Thanks!
Nice!! Your timing is always spot on.
Love the midge pattern, nice bright colors too. Always a pleasure to watch you tie. Thanks a lot man!
Thanks Davie... nice pattern and tie, as usual. Good time to hunker down over our respective vises and put what you taught us all to good use....
Cracking fly Davie. A great pattern. Many thanks for sharing.
Love this pattern, became an instant favorite of mine when I first tied it, first cast, first pool caught a nice brown. Been helping put them reliably and constantly in the net ever since
Every fly is more interesting than the last. I need to tie a bunch of foam flies for summer but I definitely will work a few of these into my schedule. Thanks Davie. Nicely done.
Did enjoy it, Davie... and the tarpon fly tie before it too. Thank you for both. When the weather breaks (getting some snow in Rocky Mtns., Wyoming right now), I'm going to head down to my river, do some wading and casting around the fast ice and snow covered boulders and see if I can have a nice day. I'm betting I can... =] Mike
I solid love seeing this fly and what you are tying. : )
Great little midge mate. The trout and brookies would kill for that in a heartbeat and that would also be a good one to try for bluegills. Thank you for sharing another great pattern to have in your fly box. 🐟🐟 Best Regards, Ken
Beautiful looking Fly Davie. I wish I could make one like that. Thanx 4 sharing this video. Aloha🌴🐛🎣🤙🏼
Wish I had one yesterday, trout daintily sipping everywhere, one slender, lovely brown took my gruesome wooly bugger, thanked her and let her go finish her lunch . Your usual excellence, Davie.Thanks.
Just great! Thanks Devie!
Awesome job!! Love this fly! 😎
Good show Davie. I always appreciate seeing your new patterns. I am going to try some in a few colors. All the very best.

I bet a tobacco brown, or slate blue would be great colors. And of course you couldn't go wrong w black and a bit of bright green for an egg sack. The possibility is endless w this pattern. Def gonna tie up a half dozen of a half dozen different color combinations. Sorry to piggie back on your comment brother Best of luck and tight lines
Look like a great local tailwater fly. Thanks for sharing.
Tied 2 in olive & 2 in black just to tie them. Struggled on the water yesterday and remembered I had these so I tried the black ones. Started getting hits. Used on a standard nymph rig. Might try swinging a few next time. Thanks for the great pattern
Yet another beautiful creation from the Master , will certainly be trying one before long .(I hope )
Great Looking Pattern! I've got to tie some of those. Thanks for Sharing!!..
Simple and very good, perfect.
Another great pattern Davie. Thanks for uploading dude. I hope you’re doing okay in these trying times.

I enjoy Your video’s. Your so precise with Your technique and fluid!
That orange highlight is small bur wgat a visual difference it makes. THANKS for making my morning enjoyable. Stat safe
They look so pretty. Very realistic was waiting for a ladybird to land on your hand and to start eating the green flies. Definitely will have a go.
Very nice one👍
Здорово получилось.👍👍👍👍👍
What a treat 👌
Awesome.
Fantastic
That exact pattern with 2 maggots would work very good for ice fishing here in Montana, for trout, or our small Silver Salmon strain. I think I'll tie it with short little wing buds instead of an adult.
Super! Super! Super!
This fly may be intended as a midge, but it will pass remarkably well as an emerger for a yellow sally stonefly.
Отличная муха!!!
hope you are all well ,great vid again,IM hoping that solitary fishing miles from the hustle and bustle will not be banned....i go to a water no one fishes ..so heres hoping..stay safe all..
Хорошенькая!)Отлично!Спасибо))
Как всегда отличная мушка.
Thanks Davie, but please check your subtitles & clean-up.
Nice very nice Davie and as usual you make it look so so easy, respect pal to say the least, but could you please tell me the best way to fish this lovely fly, all the best Peter.

Hi Peter, I like to fish it with other flies and I would normally put this fly on the middle dropper or even the top dropper keeping it close to the surface..It is a good fly though and can be fished where you would like it to be... All the very best Davie..

@@DavieMcPhail Thanks Davie for the great advise.
Класс! 👍🤝🇰🇿
Крутая
Another beautiful creation, do you think one tied using dark materials might be good for the duck fly? Thanks again Davie you’re an inspiration.

Hi Jim, This is a good version so change the thread to white, black pheasant tail on the body and black seals fur on the thorax with same orange floss and then a black hackle and everything else is the same... ATB Davie..
👍🏻
very nice bet with corvid many people will have time to try this
These hooks you are tying on are causing me solid anguish. When is everyone and you gonna go with a 1X fine standard or something. AND. And do those black nickel finished hooks even work out there? : )
How could I purchase that dubbing from your friend or does he do it for you and his friends which is understandable if he does sell some could you give me link please thaa
I’m sure you know that Tiemco makes a lighter version of the 2457, the 2488. The 57 is a 2x heavy wire. Why didn’t you use the lighter wire for better flotation?
I do not have pheasant tail.. I know- bad.. can other materials like peacock be used?
@DavieMcPhail

Hi Pete Judie, Peacock herl would be fine but you could just use some dubbing or just tye the fly with an olive thread as it does work just as well. All the very best Davie..
Such a nice pattern. How do you fish it?

Hi Dominique, I like to fish this fly on a cast of two or three flies and this one fishes well on the middle or top dropper, I would normally use a floating line but I am happy to use a sinking line as well to find the depth the fish are feeding at...I'm glad you liked the fly.. All the very best Davie...
Show..
Где покупаешь, и какие крючки?
