Just met her in person tonight. Such a beautiful and humble person... Everyone who is sitting on here trying to clown on someone, I bet that her house is better than yours, neighborhood better than yours, car better than yours, more intelligent than you...stop trying to be funny over the computer and actually get to know someone before you open your mouth and say dumb sh!t... She is a very strong individual who weathered the storm that most people would have given up a long time ago...

For those asking about Everest... Pretty sure she got her GED from Everest, became a medical assistant, then a nurse. If you get a job at the right place as a MA or CNA they'll help pay for you to further your career in nursing as long as you continue to work for them for a yr or two. They'll usually pay at least half your tuition. If she was also getting help from this place as well it was probably a full ride altogether. Most LPN's and RN's did work as some kind of assistant in the medical field first. They're stepping stone jobs that help to better line you up as far as financial help, internships/externships at a hospital while in school, and job security, as opposed to going straight through 4 yrs on your own and no prior experience in the field upon graduating.

I believe she's from California living in LA. California allows you to petition the nursing license boards if you have been a CNA for at least 5 years and become a lvn.

People dont understand that social inequality is real thing. For those with the means and structure can accomplish things within a few years. Those without can take several years to a decade to achieve the same level. For those without, never stop moving forward. You will lose sleep, time, money, patience, but it will be worth the sacrifice.
