@@tanyayoung9831no joke, an evangelical therapist is the reason trump was elected. An evangelical therapist sent a man with many mental illnesses to his wife because he hallucinated a voice telling him he was listening to the president when trump was speaking. Hundreds of thousands of people STILL hold that a many time adulterer, thief, molester, liar, and every other intentionally detrimental verb to those around him is the Fundamentalist/evangelical Christian chosen one because a therapist put his faith first.

This is the part that touched the innermost parts of me: the teacher who told Tye that if he couldn't read music, he would never make it. In middle school, I played the trombone by ear. When the teacher found out I couldn't read music, he put me out of the class. I didn't know at the time that that was a God given ability. He could have taught me to read music. Instead he crushed my dream. I didn't have a supportive parent, so I gave up playing. But I still LOVE all kinds of music. Tye is one of my all time favorite artist. Great show!

I didn’t see it as him reading the church in a condemning way but rather that he was honest. Some (but not all) leaders have unmet needs and they try to get those needs met from the people. This leads to abuse. This is not different from what people sometimes do in general, but it is more impactful because so many people are affected and hurt by it. Truthfully, some do not need to be in leadership at all - they only desire it so that they can feel good about themselves - kind of like why some people want to be famous. It is validation. Other leaders are really called to serve people and simply need healing. Once they become aware of what they are doing they are crushed and want to change. Beyond this, the people who are in churches really need to know what a healthy leader looks and feels like so that they can decide for themselves whether to stay in a church or find another one. The Lord is our validation, He is our example.
This interview has such great energy!! These two are like my two best friends in my mind😂. I couldn’t stop watching.

The way I appreciate this Gay Christian man, Lord Jesus thank you for bringing me to this channel
1 of the main reasons most churches don't focus on God is so you will think you need man to reach God & you will focus on man. God is in all of us. The path to the Lord is in the words not the speaker of the words.

Yes “Conversational Ministry”💪🏽🙌🏽
I liked this video before it even started playing. Tye Tribett's "We Gon' Be Alright" helped me tremendously after my mom passed. I was worried about my dad; my brothers, and still heavily in grief. I used to put that song on repeat and take walks at the park to ease my mind. I started listening to all his music. He's annointed and appointed; if he helped me I know he's helped countless others. "Only One Night Tho" had me in a chokehold for most of 2023. All Things New, the Album, as well!!! His ministry is so important. The church is imperfect, even though many intentions are good...I thank God for outliers from tradition, like this man who could reach someone like me. 🙏🏾
