Diana was 15 when she sang "Wicked Game" on "You are Super." She sang "Rechenka" earlier, at the age of 14. "Rechenka" is her masterpiece, but it is so vocally and emotionally demanding that she still won't do it at her solo concerts (yet) although she says it is her most requested song.

Igor waited to press the button, because he didn't want to distract her singing at all. He waited for the perfect moment, then he pressed the button.

Diana is the type of singer that when you listen to her sing you will feel a loss when the song is over. Her name is spoken as Dee-anna Ann-coo-DEEN-ava. Lots of people like to say nova, when actually its ava!

Nice reaction-sort of like mine the first time I heard her. Be very careful about listening to more Diana. I fell into that trap and now find it hard to listen to other vocalists. I'll bet I've listened to more Diana, more times, than any other artist in my record collection. Her voice never seems to get "hard" sounding, and she still gives me shivers. (p.s. the last syllable of her name is more like "eva" than "ova". This can be heard in various videos where she is introduced.)

Hi Andy. You can come pretty close to pronouncing Russian names right if you pronounce the vowels just like you would in Spanish. So her first name is pronounced Dee-ah-nah. Her last name is really difficult for most non-Russian speakers because the accent is on the third syllable. I found it easier to begin saying Ankudinova as if it were two words: "An-ku DEE-no-va" or "Anku DEEnova" Once you get into the rhythm of accenting that third syllable, then you can go back to saying Ankudinova as one word.

Angelina Jordan pushing herself hard to be contralto. But naturally she isn't. Her voice suddenly disappearing in very low contralto tabes. Angelina naturally mezzo- soprano/alto- in that range she was singing her jazz performances. And Angelina just very good vocal technician with good ear. But she is always like vocal chameleon- lack of her one color of voice, lack of vocal individuality.

.....and then the terrific-Terrible sentence "I need to know more about this Girl...! " Well, thanks, and... brace yourself ! :)

One other thing, if you moved your camera over a little, positioning yourself a little more to the left or right then you could fit the artist's video into the gap without having to change the aspect ratio, which kinda disrespects the artist a little, especially when you've got half a screen on the other side of you effectively being wasted.
