Ty Detmer (BYU) vs Miami 1990

Ty Detmer's masterful performance leads to a victory against the #1 Hurricanes. He dismantled their defense, totalling 406 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. This game helped Ty later win the Heisman trophy, the only Heisman in BYU history.

    I was at that game. Just an 11yr old boy watching Ty make BYU history. And yes, I ran into the field. 😁

    This game was the defining moment for Ty Detmer's career at Brigham Young. It's too bad that he wasn't able to blossom in the NFL.
