This "kind" of music is a genre called "afro beat" and yeah it's rare in kpop. You should give a try to the genre itself, it's really good ♡♡

@@stay8996 TXT have said this is an afro beats inspired song. You may be thinking of reggaeton which also has an island feel and is influenced by Jamaican dancehall and afro-caribbean music .
