For anyone who doesn’t quite understand this music video yet: This video is about an actual puma who escaped the zoo , it felt happy as it was finally “free” it finally breathed. But then.... people attacked it with guns , killed its friends , blood was everywhere, it just wanted to be free and adrenaline was filled with their veins until it was shot, this kinda represented them as artists , They were protected under that big hit label until they debuted , they were exposed to the haters and media , they were happy that they get to make their own music and become certified artists but at the same time, the media can be very ruthless , I find that song one of my favorites as it truly described and represents the process of an artists debut

I just wanna say that the lyrics are based on a real story on how a Puma escaped a zoo in Korea and they shot 'em even though it caused no harm to anyone, no mercy given. I think this song is very closely related to what injustice is happening in the world right now and i applaud Bighit for releasing it at this moment. This is also pretty linked to how TXT were treated since their debut with all the bashing, judgement and hate they got ,living under the shadow of their seniors without allowing them to show us who they are.

it’s crazy how txt are able to parallel this song’s story & lyrics to both the actual puma that escaped in South Korea and the hardships of an idol’s life from trainee to debut. in face value, the song literally talks about a puma wanting to escape from enclosure and enjoying it even when it gets hunted down because it achieves momentary freedom. while metaphorically, they are comparing an escaped animal to becoming an idol. being caged = the time when they were just trainees; unknown and hidden from the world. escaping = debuting. getting hunted down = getting criticism from antis. getting killed = being dragged down by the criticism and hate. PUMA is a work of art. kind of like a literature piece (that sounds rly good) with motifs/themes, parallelism and metaphors swirling together. this is why I stan bighit groups

That "oho waho waho wa" feels so nostalgic, when I first listen to it , it was my TXT fv song it was before COVID wow so old memories ㅜㅜ

If you ever feel lazy or no motivation to stream or vote think about this. Soobin and Kai are out here breaking their backs while Yeonjun risks a nasty fall. Taehyun thought his first puma stage was lacking and the second one even worse. Beomgyu wrote and produced a beautiful song for this album about the hardships he faced as a trainee. When doing the head movements in cysm they had headaches and muscle spasms for a week. After dancing to drama they couldn’t keep their legs from shaking. They gave us two MVs in one era which means double the promotions, dance videos, studio chooms, filming. All while there are no moas in the crowd to cheer for them. They went to so many variety shows this comeback. They work so so so hard for us and they never fail to express their love and gratitude to us. They wrote and produced sweat and gave it to us for free and even ensured it would stay hidden. Yeonjun always sees our hashtags and replaces TXT with MOA. They always thank us for being nominated on music shows. Of course you’re not obligated to stream or vote but it helps to reassure them that their efforts are paying off. That we love them and their music.
