because the punishment was for a different game and taking polaroid pictures was to grant you an exception from that punishment. (I talked about it more in my own comment...)

I think I figured out WHY SOOBIN DIDNT HAVE TO DO THE PENALTY in the campfire mission with capturing the polaroids in ep 11-12 (18:37)... It was mentioned at the very end of episode 12 that the ones who succeed in the mission gain benefint not that the ones who do not succeed have to do the penalty. I think the penalty was for a different mission - the talking one about ice americano... Hueningkai, Taehyun and Yeonjun lost. But because YJ and TH managed to do the secret mission with taking the polaroid photo so they gained exception and only Kai had to do the penalty. What I am saying is tha Soobin didnt have to do the penalty in the first place because he did not lose the talking mission. Not managing to take the picture would only grant him exception from the penalty if he lost that last game.
