Even though was here for northshore, there's nothing to add to this other than Duncanville was just Duncanville! The line on both sides of the ball had everything other than construction signs up.

Was here at the Game cheering for Duncanville ! Nothing like Texas Highschool Football !

Both Houston teams came down here and got they ass kicked by the North Texas boys

Too bad we don't get a real state champion (hate this stupid two divisions), need DeSoto and Duncanville to go at it one more time. Might get 60,000 in the stadium for that.

Most states are the population of metro dallas or Houston. There is nothing wrong with having a big school and small school state champion when talking about a state with 30 million people

@@cvance37you can, desoto had 5 turnovers in the game, most were js bad fumbles and concentration mishaps without those and they beat southlake 45-14. Southlake pulled everything out of their hat as well trick plays and all, DeSoto usually will hurt themselves in games, but wha was seen today was a flawless effort.

Would have liked to have seen North Shore come alive and take this being they're an HTown school... but... Dville clearly got their act together after that DeSoto loss in reg season, and started putting bodies in the ground throughout this entire playoff series - hats off to them. Uber talented team and that program getting their 2nd championship. Now that said - I would like to see 2 other teams like for real step up and get programs and some new blood in the 6A-D1 ... what is amazing is that year after year it's these 2 teams. The other thing that no one is talking about is - is even though DeSoto is a back to back champ in 6A-D2 - both of those teams playing in that game tonight - DeSoto and Summer Creek are from the same districts as DV & NS. Talk about districts just loaded with talent.

No question of talent on this field. Both sidelines. But Panthers are just better prepared. They are half step quicker off the snap and then they grab on and swarm. Duncanville vs DeSoto would be a classic.

North Shore's offensive coaching staff needs to spend the off season at modern offensive camps this off season. Been watching them all year. I live in Houston. I said no way this vanilla offense will stand a chance against Duncanville. Can beat up on area teams, but gee wiz, utilize some of the talent that you have instead of that slow read option. The offense regressed this year under Gaston. Surprised the heck out of me. I thought he would bring some creativity.

No trophies for H-Town again North Texas is just a dominant Region for Football Yall plain and simple Aledo,Anna,Gunter,Duncanville, And DeSoto walked off the Stage with Championship titles.
