People organizing triathlon really have to pay attention with those carpet covering holes. Had the same thing happened to me in a race and nearly sprained my ankle. Really frustrating !

Yeah carpets hiding holes are disasters waiting to happen. Organisers should either make sure there are absolutely no holes or uneven surfaces, or (better yet) avoid carpets.
