Two Ways for Colorful Fluid Particles Tutorial
Фильм және анимация
One of you asked us a question and Michael dives in to answer! Trapcode Particular has multiple ways to create some nice, fluid effects and we're going to look at two of them. This technique is useful for both motion graphics and visual effects. So, fire up After Effects and the Trapcode Suite (with a little bit of help from Optical Glow in VFX Suite and Renoiser from Magic Bullet Suite) for this colorful tutorial.
After we published this, Michael realized he missed a tip! Check out the extra bit here: • Michael Missed a TIP
Here's the tutorial Michael mentions for some cool Air Bending using similar techniques from @CGVisualsVFX • 💨 Trapcode Fluids Tuto...

great tutorial!!!
how to stroke move? used motion sketch? or copied mask path?

You can do whatever you want for your scene. For this one, Michael started with motion sketch and then manually moved points around to get movement in z and not just x and y.
*Can you show me how to invert the Particular particles from the "Layer Imiter" source, I want it to bounce back to the source and not diffuse from the source, thank you very much, have a nice day Maxon*

If you want your particles to come back to a source, the best way to do it is to create the animation you want, render it, and then just reverse it! You can also do it inside Particular by animating the Physics Time Factor to go from a positive number until the particles get where you want them and then make the Physics Time Factor go negative and they'll reverse back to where they came from.

Are you asking about Particular or After Effects? Why are you asking? Do you see something different on your system?

@@MaxonRedgiant I installed Trapcode Suite 17, but I am having difficulties because the video and functions are different. air tublulence part in particular seems to work differently.
Do you have a discord server??

Are you asking us or Michael? If you're asking us, we don't have one at the moment. Redshift (which is part of Maxon like we are) has one, but it's just for conversations regarding the Redshift 3D renderer. If you're asking Michael, he moderates or participates in quite a number of motion design and VFX servers on Discord, but he doesn't have his own.
