Well actually there is no such thing as epic music. Not a legitimate music term and shouldnt be used. Who are you to decide that your music is epic and someone elses is not lol? This is simply a neoclassical, orchestral, new age, cinematic or trailer music.

There is a real pleasure in analyzing Bergersen's music. He keeps surprising me, monotony is a concept he must not know. His ability to transform a melody is exceptional. He is the only composer I know to have such a degree of creativity

Oh please check out M83, Enigma and Vangelis. Their music is out of this world. It has such a mystical and deeply spiritual feel to it. For example Enigma's last album is a true spiritual journey in it itself. Unfortunately for me these new overly orchestral Two Steps from Hell pieces do not offer that kind of feeling. I wish they would do more new age and electronic pieces again like they did before. For example Lost in Las Vegas. For me that could be their best piece so far.

However Enigma, M83 and Vangelis music is really something else...

@@dreamthedream8929 I personally dislike the new age and electronic stuff sooo much. Lost in Las Vegas and Emerald Princess(the electro parts at least) were just kinda depressing and monotoned beats that leave you with no impression at all. Orchestral is the best imao! It makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up; it's pleasing to the ears instead going against the rhythm of your heartbeats. I am not saying take it all out, but anything that's all electrical techy stuff is just too much! The strings, drums, etc just need to be in music for it to be Epic, deep, and moving!

This is such an amazing album and I already have over 150 song plays from from the album itself. In fact, according to my iTunes statistics (from 2008-2019), I've accumulated nearly 20,000 song plays in total across TSFH's entire discography (top song is Invincible, 998 plays). You guys make such epic uplifting music that helps get through the hard days, please never stop your magical work. Thankyou.

Where words fail, Music speaks. :) Take this quote from Henry David Thoreau: 'When I hear music, I fear no danger. I am invulnerable, I see no foe. I am related to the earliest times, and to the latest." May the Music make you braver, friend!

@@galadvd8293 Why thank you! Hehe, 'freedom', perhaps a TSFH reference whether unintended or so? Nonetheless, that quote I only humbly borrow: that real credit goes back to TSFH's SkyWorld cinematic showreel. It is a quote that I have held tightly to, through these years, although much of Thoreau's works are not to be passed up, in my opinion. Music IS a universal language, after all. It speaks to the soul, not the mind. Take the Immortal Generals Thomas and Nick's melodies for it.

@@RosemarieCatSarahR Yeah it was a small reference to TSFH ;) We can all agree on the tremendous power of music! When I can't use words to describe my toughts/feelings, I use music to make people understand. Words can't express everything, images can be altered and biased... That's why, to me, music is the only way to speak freely :) And the duo Nick/Thomas surely create music full of meaning
