"broken" from seether ft. amy lee was a perfect collaboration between Amy Lee and Shaun Morgan... They actually dated 2003-2005 until Shaun checked into rehab in 2006, That's where Amy Lee wrote "Call Me When Your Sober"! Sadly Morgans brother jumped out a window to his death a year later 2007!

Saying this gives you “Avril Lavigne vibes” is disgraceful. I get feeling like it is a significantly early 2000’s sound, but Avril hasn’t got shit on Amy or Evanescence (and I am a fan of early Avril myself).

Amy Lee possibly has the most powerfully emotive voice in Rock today. Some women like Floor are "better" singers technically, but sheer power, emotion, etc? Amy is unrivaled. My Immortal, Everybody's Fool, Call Me When You're Sober (which is actually related to this song.. fun trivia for you), etc. Pure power.

I also really liked the band that preceded it called Creed. Which is actually this band with another vocalist called Scott Stapp singing.
The music video was filmed at a trailer park that was blown up by a meth lab located there
If you want to hear Shaun Morgan's voice outside of the early 2000s grunge style of this song I'd recommend Seether's Rise Above This. Save Today too if you want to go for the even softer stuff.
You should check out Amy Lee's version of Going to California! Also check out the band Jinjer with their song Pieces (live session) it will definitely blow your minds!!

It seems nobody is sharing what this song is about! The lead singer of seether the guy that wrote the song this was Seethers song before they featured Amy Lee.The song was about the guys brother passed away at a early age from illness.Obviously about the way he felt about his brothers passing. Eventually the lead singer and Amy Lee dated for some time.

Personally I’ve always looked at this song as a love Song . I even dedicated this song to my wife.
I had forgotten that I used to play this song in my old band, it was popular at the time, it was only a guy singing then though. So weird that in your other vid I just watched, I suggested you should do "Seether" a song by Veruca Salt, which I think is where this band got their name.
