Do yourself a favor and watch the whole game. I watched the replay even though I knew the result.....Very much worth it! Bravo les Bleus belle victoire et mention spéciale à Fickou pour l'ensemble de son oeuvre, il était partout à la fois !

Je revois ça avant le match dans 3h. merci pour ce commentaire
This is very reminiscent of the England v Scotland match in 2019. Both games saw Scotland get overrun in the early game only to make a crazy comeback in the later game but being unable to beat either team. Calling it now that France will make the final in RWC 2023.

I honestly don't care about making the final.....I've watched les Bleus lose that 3 times already! Now it's the cup or nothing! I'd actually prefer them to lose before the final than suffer another heartbreak like 2011.

France will have to best either the rwc holders, or the world's number 1 team to get to the semi's. Big call. Mind you so will New Zealand, but they've done it before. At their last home world cup, France lost the opening match to Argentina. Weight if Expectations. NZ have never lost a pool game. Interesting tournament

Sorry Scotland from France, Love you 🇨🇵❤️🏴
Safe to say the ref had an absolute howler, for both sides. Forward passes not being called, not calling obvious blocking. For a man who insisted on slowing the game down so much with calls that were dubious at best and incorrect at worst. He should not be allowed to referee another international test for a long time

as a Frenchman I liked him. Yes he missed calls, but for both teams and was rather fair. Much more than British refs reffing a British team vs France...... That's what I don't want to see.

He also gave france a "final warning" for persistent infringements........Twice! He warned them before ht then just seemed to foget about it like it was a new game and gave them another final warning in the 2nd half.

@@grahammccready2647 I thought this as well, just consistently warning a team with no punishment. A final warning is final for the rest of the game, another discipline infringement is a sin bin, it’s quite simple

Really it's not only the ref. The VAR ref is the biggest culprit. He has the ability to review any stuff missed like for example the neck charge on Dupond and he did nothing.
@sanapadsense7134

Strategically I wanted France to beat Scotland as that would leave only Ireland unbeaten and still on course for the Triple Crown and Grand Slam. This was a great game though..
bella partita

I was about to do battle in the comment section as the kids say but you're 100% right. May need to watch it at 0.5speed but it was clearly the most forward of forward passes. I don't understand how they let that slide in a modern game with all the technology *Edit:* for timestamp 6:30

No era tarjeta roja😡
Scotland red wasn’t a red!!
the red card rule is actually dumb, if the player couldn't get low enough to make the tackle and the player colides into him its unfair to give a straight red card, should be yellow wit option of red
The sheer stupidity of European rugby to reject the proposal for 20 minute red card replacements. No one wants to pay to see 15 guys beating down on 14 guys for 70 minutes because a player got sent off for accidentally making head contact. The game is chaotic, accidents will always happen, we're asking the players to do what's impossible then punishing them when they fail.
This game showed that we're still not good enough to properly compete with the top 4. A decent effort, but another glorified defeat

France one was questionable because of what the Scottish player did to avoid damage by stepping back before contact was made, the Scottish one was questionable because of the height the French player was at when contact was made imho.
Scots should have won as France for away with 3 forwards passes
