Super video Phil what a busy time at Crewe plus plenty of different locos.Certainly kept you busy.I saw them both at Hartford in the morning.

I love the Intercity livered Class 90, the best Electric Loco

Good video I like the 80s Livery of 90002 and the blue class 47 it brings back memories of 1986 when I was out spotting in Manchester piccadilly! Nice to see old workhorses still in use!!!🥰

I mean that was just sensational Phil! No words can describe how good this was! Fantastic shots and captures there! Lovely sounds, the thumbnail is spectacular!! Rare awesome sights there and the 57 in the middle makes it better! What awesome timing! Was outstanding! Incredible, really was! What more could you want!? Great coverage of the movements at Crewe on the 11th Phil, showing diesel electric and steam around the station, and I see you had rain that day in Crewe, I was in Wiltshire and had a nice day. Regards Mike.

What a spendid collection of classic British traction. Puts me in mind of happier times gone by, rather like how Crewe used to be. I keep wanting to see 90001/2 for myself but can never find any info on them...

Outstanding footage and a just reward for your research, skill and patience. Again, sorry to say it but your wonderful cinematography puts to shame the neglected state of Crewe Station, such beautiful, Renaissance influenced bi-chromatic brickworks rampant with weeds, as with Line-side infrastructure. Anyway, what a day! Thanks for sharing, you have the magic touch. John Kennedy

Thanks Ian. Yes the 47 did look good, classic blue livery too, unlike the multi coloured swap shop :-)

Looks like you got not 1 but 2 railtours with royal scot dropping off his train and letting 90002 take its train onwards and the 57 on the northern belle continuing as normal

@@prime6134 Yes it was a charter, but it was the same one that the steam loco (Royal Scot ) brought in..... they swapped locos at Crewe
