Two RAF C130 Hercules Depart From Prestwick Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland (4mar2013) PIK

With radio transmissions from the tower, Hercules and various other aircraft. We saw three C-130 Hercules (callsigns Ascot 204 and Ascot 205) at Prestwick Airport (callsign PIK) so popped in for a look. Managed to catch two of them as they were due to depart.
I'd like to say hello to the airman, the co-pilot I think, who waved to the camera at 2:42. I hope you manage to find this video and possibly even comment on it ;-)
Also, hello to the man with the Canon DSLR taking photos near the end of the video. I got chatting to this man for a while. Nice speaking to you on the day ;-)
This video comprises of nine video clips recorded using a Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ9 and stitched together using the KZread Video Editor.
A Wouxun KG-UVD1P recieved the audio from Prestwick Tower communicating with the aircraft on the Prestwick Tower Rebroadcast frequency of 455.625mhz FM. Unlike the Prestwick Tower frequency of 118.150mhz AM, this allows you to hear the service vehicles operating within the runway.

Glad you like the video. I just checked the origional files and the nine film clips that you see here were recorded between 2:50pm and 3:00pm local time. They were routing past Mauchline after take off, so you may have heard them flying over Galston. Thanks again for watching, and for commenting :-)
