Can’t wait to get these…I have been stuck on Michael’s Vai cab for awhile,but these sound great too…..one can NEVER have too many IR’s…..or cabs…

Bought this pack. Wow! Amazing! I have the Friedman JJjr and these cabs sound glorious on that amp. Will say that between this and the Pete Thorn pack (which also sounds superb) there are so many great tones. Sounds just beautiful and takes the fun of playing over the top.

I've been through IR rabbit hole for a long time and I can happily say that the Friedman Cab pack delivers what it is supposed to. I am absolutely in love with Friedman BlackBack which is my favorite cabinet out of the bunch. And Michael Nielsen is probably one of the best people to showcase and demonstrate the capabilities of this package! Thumbs up for great work!

Man these sounded amazing! Really felt like big cabs moving air as opposed to some other IR's. The naked and vint were my fav 2 for sure.

I'm less certain, They all sound so good! My ears favor a different one each day. At first it was the G12, then the Black, today it was the "naked." All have very nice rich overtones. They make every other DynIR cabs I own sound thin and low-fi.

Ive been using these DynIR cabs all week, and it's not overstating it to say that the value and quality of my Captor-X just jumped into a new category with these added. Whatever they did when capturing these, everybody else needs to take note.

they sound killer. the captor x is on my radar big time.

Every time I hear a V30 in these recording comparisons I remember why I love V30s lol.

Barely had these for a few minutes and they sound fantastic through my 98 Bogner Ecstasy 101B (I see you Mike ;). I also ran my BE-100 pedal through the Bogner‘s clean channel and it just rains asteroids. Two Notes should create a DynIR pack with these, the BHG and Pete Thorn and call it the ‘Dave’s Big Hairy Peter’ pack.

Yeah, the JJ is phenomenal. You can always use these with a CabM, or in the box with the WOS Torpedo.

In a way. Use ToneX for the amp, turn off the cab, and use the Wall of Sound Two Notes for the cab

I hate to say it: The hats and cymbals were from the Rock Foundry Expansion from ToonTrack Superior Drummer. The Kick was from MIxwave Gojira - Mario Duplantier. The Snare was from Mixwave Thomas Pridgen Drums. I programmed all of this, but I was struggling with the drums on this, so I just keep trying things until they came together.

@@BigHairyGuitars Thanks Michael, my question was exactly the same. :) I think you shaped the sound even with eq, etc. but the info you describe basically determines the drum sound we hear in the video. Oh, where are the toms from?

@@80s_kid The toms are mostly from Mixwave Thomas Pridgen Drums. I got a little sloppy and there's a little bit of a tom on the kick track, or cymbals track. But the main primary toms are the Pridgen.

No. Sadly, the Two notes cabs are in a closed architecture. So it only works in their products and software.

Well they sound great but here's a potentially dumb question.... would they work on other platforms i.e. Modeling units etc?

This is cool but not really sure how to use all this high tech guitar software. So many ways to go, overload actually.

I don’t believe any of the current Friedman 412 cabs have just v30s or greens like the last 2 that are discussed in this video.

Neither did the Friedman cab that we captured. But this allows you to creat your own blend of V30 and Greenback.

I wonder if anyone ever gets real with Friedman about his weight. The guy is an elite amp builder, inventor, and innovative. I would like him to stick around as long as Les Paul did. Wearing black all the time and hiding behind the cabs isn't doing the trick.
