We come to ack every summer, it is hands down my favorite place in the world, and I have always dreamed of living here. Just wondering in general, where on island do you live? our friends have a house in madeket :). Idk if that is an inappropriate question to ask, but just wondering about off season communities!

Been following you on tiktok and somehow had no clue you had a KZread! Went to Nantucket for the first time last year and I’m considering looking for jobs there this summer but housing seems so hard to find/ crazy expensive. As a local, do you have any ideas of good ways to find long terms rentals that don’t do peak season price gouging? Also, this may be a dumb question but since it’s an island is it hard to get packages delivered through mail on island? 😂😅 thank you!!

I would say for summer housing that isn’t insanely expensive - look for jobs that offer housing or when you do interview ask them about what they do for their staff
