I love checkMK and have used it in professional and personal environments. Needs some tweaking to configure but amazing when setup and running.

I like Zabbix even more than CheckMK. Just a tip.

Awesome video! Thanks for sharing all these great open source tools with us! Also want to mention that KDE's System Monitor has served the same purpose for me very well over the years. Allowing me to monitor resources, processes, history and lets you add your own pages with your own graphing/display widgets (If you use KDE).

No. These types of tools, regardless of how much they claim to not be privacy nightmares, are just not in keeping with the open source concepts. It's not that no one could or would make one, but no one has that I'm aware of. My feel on it, being in the software industry and working remote, is... if you give me tasks with realistically achievable goals, completion dates and timeframes, and I get my work done, why should anyone care how long it takes me, or if my mouse moved for 5 minutes or not. My job requires a lot of reading and research, so I sit just reading for hours at a time. Not something that would really seem like I was being overly productive according to tools like this. To add to that, my personal feeling is, if you can't trust your employees to do their work, then either you aren't rewarding them the right way (salary set appropriately, benefits, etc), or they really shouldn't be working for you.
