I agree that parents need to parent 100%…I have two, one being a teenager and it’s really hard to monitor absolutely everything as soon as your kid hits teenage years they literally know it all and absolutely everything becomes an issue when you need to restrict things…not being parents it really easy to judge parents because you have absolutely no idea what it’s like I was the same before kids but now I totally see why these massive platforms need to monitor their own platforms because kids who think they know everything about everything can get into serious trouble… parenting is like trying to control a time bomb all of the time …when they hit a certain age they literally think they are invincible but in reality they are at their most vulnerable it’s an absolute mind fuck! ❤

I don’t think it’s about monitoring or controlling. It’s about raising kids to make good choices in different situations, around different people, etc. The world is never going to be censored.. tv, news, movies, videos games, social media, magazines.. the responsibility is on the parents. U can’t hide kids from everything. U have to teach them how to maneuver situations, information and things they will encounter. I think we may just have to agree to disagree on this one lol

@@LeaToshiye I agree with you totally but the older your child gets the harder it is for you to get them to listen to you…something no one can prepare you for…all we can do is help try to get them to listen but at the end of the day outside influence is massive with impressionable kids…the friends they keep and also the content the consume…totaly agree though that at the end of the day parents are responsible not the platforms in any way shape or form but somtimes parents try their best but unfortunately just can’t get through to their kids and if we do it’s through sheer determination and no fear of shouting matches…but at the same time again it’s not the platform’s responsibility to parent a child its 100% the parents that’s why I’m literally tearing my hair out with my teen as I am determined for him to be a decent member of society…fighting the good fight !😂😂
