About Academy of Bass
I'm Keith Peberdy a professional musician and educator of almost 30 years. In that time, I've taught many 1,000's of bass players.
The Academy of Bass is an on-line bass school founded to help bass players of all abilities to simply play better bass. Whilst we aim to deliver easy to understand lessons, our main focus is to show you how to take what you've learned, practice it and give you as bunch of great ideas of how to develop it, so that you can get it into your own playing.

Bruce Foxton,a favorite of mine is a great example of a bassist keeping a solid bottom while providing melody in a trio format.

Mate you earned it , i like to watch informative presentations , that show the less experienced ,other than just someone running their fingers up and down the fretboard in a blur and really are just on a ADHD ego ride, you could jam up a roll , that's a complement by the way@@academyofbass

Just getting a lot more into bass lately. Thanks for the video. Gotta' point out that your body placement in the video makes the sign behind you read "Academy of ass." Not that I'm complaining. It's part of why I kept watching 'til the end :)

Thanks for watching until the end. Unfortunately, I don’t have the room to show the logo on screen fully. If I’m being honest it’s just there to add some colour and light to the shot😜
