It's so true! It really upsets me to see that two men can't be affectionate or loving towards each other without it being perceived as romantic. We need more movies like RRR!

In the western world, two men or two women who love each other platonically is always immediately labelled romantic because we live to appease certain communities now so they don’t get offended. But I’ve noticed in our Indian society tho that platonic love between the same gender is always shown and it is never twisted in the way Western people do. Platonic love is always just platonic love.

Yeah, good one. Male-to-male friendship has been too much "gaywashed" in the US ...more or less in the West. Also, sorry to burst the bubble, but it's not Bollywood(Hindi language film). There are many "...woods" in the Indian cinema industry. This one is "Tollywood", a Telugu language film dubbed in various other languages.

We are atleast 1 billion people living and sharing brotherhood since long ago.im just shock that there is no concept of pure brotherhood
People are literally searching all western videos of rrr just to tell them that it's tollywood. 😂 I know Telugu too but can't we be just proud of being Indian

bcoz people only know about bollywood, and people assume indian films means bollywood films. So what's wrong if we want some recognition from the world? We want people to call it as a indian tollywood film.
@0:33 Sir it's a tollywood film (telugu language film) which is dubbed in to other languages. All these years people assumed indian movies means only bollywood (hindi language movies), no it's not we also have other woods like tollywood (telugu), sandalwood (kannada language movies), kollywood (tamil language movies) etc..
India cinema actually have amazing movies based on men's friendship, and in our culture two men close to eachother is not considered as them being gay men's friendship are very strong 😂❤️
So glad you liked RRR! It's a fantastic movie. You should totally talk more about Bollywood movies that you like because I find that even though they are not Catholic or Christian in religion, they have an unabashed and non-cheesy way of showing religiosity and faith in the mainstream. RRR is not a bollywood movie , India has many different language . RRR is a telugu original movie. It's Tollywood
Watch the movie and have a review guys.
There is a scene similar to Jesus crucifixion, when I learned how subtly they portrayed it my respect for RRR increased.
