have you done any test plots with test strips of fungicide vs. no fungicide or other methods of fungicide application? Would love to see a comparison in yield between them, especially if you had a field that was half sprayed with something like a Hagie sprayer and then the other half sprayed with drones
Why fungicide? It will increase plant health as its making the ear and prevent disease from setting in
Some guys have extra containers for a faster return to the field time
put contact paper on every other or every row and report back with results. I've seen results that look terrible
Is it realist and savvy to spray 2000 acres corn field?
Super
that was fun
Can I get some contact info on the crew? I’m also from central Kentucky and recently bought one of the spray drones. Thanks!
Good
Does this drone actually cut down on cost of spraying or is this just a fun way to do it? Wondering if the investment had paid off yet.
Drones definitely have there place in Ag but would be curious to see a side by side comparison with drone vs Hagie sprayer. I bet you would see 10 plus bushels on the Hagie application. We run 20 gallons per acre vs 2 It’s really about good coverage with fungicides Not sure 2 gallons of water does the job but great video

Isn't it the same amount of chemical? just different water amount. and the drone push the chemical into crop better ?

@@hondeltorchannel8117 would definitely love to see actual honest results ! I custom spray and I am interested in moving into a drone for more custom application ( alongside the ground units )specially in bugs on big crop .. love this stuff !

Unless you’re interested in running over 15% of your crop with a giant tractor, I’m not sure how a Hague would’ve even done this job at all.

@@christopherwharton6022 15 percent? Giant tractor ? Might want to go take some Math classes. With all wheel steer and tires tires that straddle the row and height that is over the tassel. 5 percent damage at most.

@@JD-oh9vz drones are faster, cheaper, they give better product penetration, and they cause no damage at all. Plus they’re way cooler than a tractor. You’re just mad because you’re going to have to scrap your irrelevant million dollar machine. I hope you’ve already paid it off.
Satisfied with drones results ?
飞得太高了,速度太快了,飞低点和慢点喷洒效果更好。
How would the drones work with trees and steep fields ?

depends on model and features the drone has

Up to 35 degrees of tilt, no problem! The trees they stray
What license and exception do these pilots hold in order to do this? Any reply on this is extremely helpful and thank you Big.

For ag drone application, each pilot needs a Commercial Remote Pilot License (Part 107). Then, depending on the operation, you'll need an exemption to operate a drone over 55 lbs, exemption to fly a swarm (more than 1 drone per pilot), exemption from Line of Sight (LOS), and an exemption to fly at night. Further, the organization needs Part 137 Certification (Agricultural Aircraft Operations).

@@mcunico 44807 is for the over 55lbs. and part 137 for spray. The others I didn't know about yet. Thank you very much as your info is like gold.

@@georgeadams6277 I did find out that Part 137 does cover your over 55lbs as well.
How many acres per hrs per drone?
@ClintPoore

One acre per 90 seconds approximately , 2 acres per flight, up to 20 acres per hour per Drone
To much speed. Too high altitude
