Two Dimensional Motion Problems - Physics
This physics video tutorial contains a 2-dimensional motion problem that explains how to calculate the time it takes for a ball rolling off a cliff to hit the ground. It also explains how to calculate the range of the ball as well as the final velocity just before it hits the ground.

This man continues to help engineering, physics, mathematician, biology, electrical students of all ages! Give him a person of the decade award!
this man has changed my lifeeeee I swearrr, i use to hate physics but he changed my mindset.
thank you for teaching two dimensional kinematics in simple yet very accurate way!!! youre my savior!!!!!
how many times i thank you wont be enough we appreciate u sm ty!
You put it straight that even any student from any country can understand ❤
You are the best teacher in the world 💗

I even created another account just to come and subscribe again to show my appreciation because I don't know how I can thank you for the good work you are doing for us....
Thankyou Organic Chemistry, I'm going to pass my exams because of you!
Please do video on gre problems!I love your style of teaching!
I honestly understand the concept much better from your vids
Professor, will you publish more physics lessons? I am pursuing physics with you because I loved it. Thank you

How did you know I was studying this right now?🙏
Is there a trick to access to the full videos? I am paying for the membership, but every time I try to access to a full video it says blocked. Thank you for ll you do, you always save my life!
that formula is so confuse. can I use the one with s=ut+1/2at^2
Genius 💪💪💪💯🤧
You best 👌 👍
Hi, thanks for helping me getting 4.00
Why is the angle not -87.1 and instead it is 272.9? I get you did it counter clock wise, but I don’t understand why.

If you look at a unit circle and go counterclockwise 87.1° you will end up at 272.9°. They are equivalent but you typically do not want to write a negative angle. Another way to do this is by taking the negative angle and adding 360 to get the correct angle. -87.1 + 360 = 272.9

God loves you guys!
want to meditate ? then listen to his voice.
I hope you include 3D motion too 😢 can't find in your channel
i think there is quite shorter formula for the time. Its T=√(2h/g)

Why -9.8 when its falling?

That's the default acceleration of something being pulled down by gravity.

dude ur a fuckin lifesaver
Didn't he calculate the time for if you drop the ball straight down from a height 500 meters, the horizontal velocity would make the path longer then 500 M which would take longer for it to hit the ground. Unless I'm confused
@singularityproject

The horizontal distance it travels doesn't matter. You're solving for the time it takes to hit the ground from 500 meters so the only factor to consider is the constant downwards acceleration due to gravity. While the path taken is longer, the time it takes to fall is still the same.

doesn't gravity equal to 9.8 m/s squared?

gravity is pulling you downward. therefore it is negative
