I mean...even retired law enforcement can (and do) break laws. So, not a great argument there. Either way, I agree that people should do their research first. I would say, based on the last few years of my being subbed to this channel, that they try to be as transparent as possible. I'd be a bit surprised if it ever came out that they lied about something.

And the Arms Family are devote Christians who live accordingly ! So no Karen’s can say anything bad about them. People love to be too extreme with their accusing people without knowing the facts. So sad our country and the world is catering to people making up lies on good people. The Bible says: (Quote) Do not try to look for the splinter in your brother’s eye when you yourself could have a boulder in your own eye. (Unquote) Just more evidence how far America has moved away from God and in need of a Savior which is Jesus Christ.

You are so right! A coyote has no problem killing and eating family pets when they are hungry. They also have been known to go after small children. They do this when there is not enough food for them. Their population can get too high and there is not enough game to go around. If a coyote goes after my children or my pets, who do you think I will have mercy on?

Friends had their dog get out of their newly built FLhouse on move in day. They knew there was a canal about 100 yards behind their house and there were alligators in it. They heard their dog yipping, then making sounds of distress. He was never seen again. Their kids learned the hard way why they were told to close the dog in the bathroom. A fence shot to the top of his to-do list since he had very young kids. People ignore warnings and small pets pay a terrible price.

Coyotes are dangerous predators. In SoCal one even grabbed a toddler in their back yard while the mother was near by. The mother saved her child, but privately trapping Coyotes in SoCal must be illegal, because there are way to many. I'm in TX, and these pest run the streets of our town. I could have lost a hound dog due to coyotes separated on each corner of the fence digging to get in to attack him. Until the 160 lb Rottie came out and told them off. So, you're doing yourself and your neighbors a favor. ❤

Joan You say you’re experiencing coyotes that have lost fear of man. So let me ask you this and maybe I can shed some light on that....Could these Coyotes you’re seeing who aren’t afraid of human be Coywolves ? A Coywolf is coyotes that have inbred with Wolves. Google them. They get slightly bigger than the average coyote but not as big as a wolf. But they resemble a coyote and a Wolf and they have the aggressive temperament of a Wolf. The Coy Wolf is on the rise in America and I haven’t done a ton of research on them but they’re definitely something people like yourself who walks your dog in the outdoors should be aware of. Protect yourself and your dog, if I was you I’d definitely not be going on long walks with my dog without arming myself. Just Incase those are coy wolves.

Where we live in FL there is a 48 acre reserve behind us. Recently we've heard coyotes. There have been bobcats, foxes, armadillos, several types of hawks, owls, sand hill cranes, red shouldered hawks and many kinds of snakes. We've had 6 venomous coral snakes and numerous black racer snakes on our property. No one disturbs them because there are stiff penalties for trespassing. We've even had alligators in retention pond behind us. We're about 20 miles from downtown Orlando but it's like the wild kingdom.

Sometimes Dad’s get excited when teaching and helping their sons . Like my son said “he always wants things done his way instead of asking me how or what I think and let me do it. I want his help but he just takesover” about his father.

I had a dad like that too. He was just trying to be helpful, but sometimes he'd be too helpful, and it wouldn't allow for me to have the learning experience. I still loved him for it, although I was frustrated at the time. I know it came from a good heart.

I’ve learned so much from you, I’m not a hunter or trapper, growing up in Massachusetts I’ve learned more from you than any other person in my life! Thanks!, my dad was not around, my uncles were hunters but I was not around them much during the seasons. I did a lot of trout lines , fishing, turtles, and other things like camping in snowy weather as a young boy , loved it all , never got into hunting or trapping, would have loved it ! Didn’t really have a man in my life but my mom taught me to fish, fight and live for the moment! She was an awesome dad mom !

Also, my dad was a policeman in Vernon California, but not much of a father. I’m 66 now and remember him as a beginning in my life at 23. Was just getting to know him when he passed away. My mom never spoke ill of him and I learned a great deal from that. I found that he was a good person but didn’t have the same sense of humility as my mother did. Thank you for being the man/father you are to your children, you are a man amongst men, I appreciate your kindness and love for your family! Thank you Daniel !

Daniel & Houston: If you wanna catch a Bobcat here’s how you attract them! Get a chicken, duck or bird Wing from a dead fowl bird of some sort and some Down feathers. Find a tree along a trail that has some limbs that you can use to hang the fowl wing on a fishing line from. Hang the wing upside down about 5 feet above you’re bait hole with fishing line, about 12-14 inches above the wing on the same fishing line tie a lead deep sea fishing anchor weight. The weight is to hold your line straight down to keep the whole line from flapping in the wind and only allowing the last 12 to 14 inches tied to the wing to be able to flap in the wind . Then but your bait hole in in front of your trap and put down feathers around the bait hole. Make the whole set look like a fowl bird kill site. The bobcat will come in to investigate and while he’s looking up at the wing hanging there he/she doesn’t pay any attention to the trap. They are looking up at the wing and investigating the hole and Zap they’re trapped. Give it a try. 😉👍🏼

Wing tip side down or shoulder side down?

Wing where it joins the birds body tied to the fishing line si wing tip down. So when it flaps in the wind it almost gives it the look of a birds wing that was torn off by another predator. Or caught in a tree limb & torn off and a bunch of down feathers and tail feathers around The bait hole. So it makes it look like a bird kill or struggling area. That’s the Best way I can describe it to you & then curiosity killed the cat so to speak. Because Bobcats Over Coyotes are the more difficult to trap. So the wing & feathers trick makes them a lot more likely to investigate the bait hole and them standing on the trap set spot looking up at the wing above their head moving in the wind is what gets them to step on the plate. But as Daniel & Houston done in one of their resets U need to put obstacles on both sides of the trap and bait hole that will get them to stand on the trap area as they’re looking up or checking out the bait hole. 👍🏼
