I think maybe an unintended side effect is when Makoto was crying at the death of Sayaka, The first person he loved. When Kyoko died, he cried the same way. He loved her.

@@Melisaoffxl12 Not taking credit from Mikan for bringing Kyoko out of a coma, but Seiko also has credit for creating the antagonist drug, and Kyoko herself for finding and using it!

The people dislike are either Celeste x kirigiri shippers, Byakuya x Makoto shippers or They cried so hard, the tears fell on the dislike button and they never noticed.

i have been watching this over and over and over again. the amount of effort and emotion in this is just perfect. i'd be lying if i said i didn't die over the ending. Honestly amazing job! i'm so happy this got recommended to me, your art is beautiful!!

I really wanna talk about what I think about this beautiful animatic. As soon as Makoto looked at Kyoko, I knew they must have a thing for each other. Kyoko didn’t really care about him until Sayaka died and Saw his reaction. Kyoko helped him during the trial and then helped him get over her and then, that was the start of them. Throughout the entire thing, they stood by there side even, When he was voted out and almost executed, She went to him. That’s what made it clear. I haven’t really watched much of the future arc yet but when Kyoko was dead, I would react the same way as Makoto did if I was in that situation. And in the end, They were never apart because she came back and now they will never be apart, no matter what happens to each other.

I agree!!! The reason I love it so much is because it doesn’t feel as unrealistic as a lot of the “love at first sight” thing I see in a lot of anime. They aren’t immediately enamored with each other. They fall for eachother because of what they’ve been through together and what they’ve done for eachother.

I love how whenever it goes back to the scene with the two characters with the line behind them, it shows the progression of the relationship. At the beginning, they're facing away from each other. Then, at 0:54, they're looking at each other sideways on. Finally, at 1:54, they're full on facing each other and the line's bended into a heart. I'm probably not the only one who noticed and I don't even know if it was intentional but if it is then I love the concept. Great animation btw, I just can't get over this video!
