Thanks. My "do everything" bike is an Ibis Hakka MX, and I love it. However, as noted here with the Otso--not as many mounting points as some might want / aka: I also have a touring bike.

The chain stay tuning chip is really cool. If the did that with the fork also like my ENVE Mtn fork that would make it the ultimate adjustable gravel rig.

This video got me thinking about how the rear dropouts in my vintage steel bikes are interesting. They have those bolts in them that lets you adjust the positioning in the dropouts. I have one bike I use for bike-packing and I set the rear almost all the way back and on my racier bike I push it all the way forward. I wonder how much people messed with these back in the day. Something to ask in the "steel is real" group on FB I guess.

My favorite bikes I realized all have longish chainstays, I don't notice a performance hit but they are more stable on descents and more comfortable on rough roads.

Great bike! Just a reminder its suspension corrected too. I've got a lauf on mine with the carbon bars and carbon seat and its supple. Did you test the medium or the small? I got the medium but I probably would have been better off on the small. Great guys to work with though and the grx drive train is very nice!

My single speed has a wolftooth cnc 16t cog it. If is very well manufactured and sturdy. So if they made a bike it would be just well manufactured. I'm a bike nerd myself. I have so many frames that I usually build one up for someone that needs it and give it to them. Next my plan is to make my own single wheel trailer out old/ not used frames.

Might be cool to have a middle setting with a different 'chip' setup dunno if it would make a huge difference but maybe a 3rd option for ultimate flexibility for all rider types. I think it's a cool idea and really like that it's there but I agree most people will probably leave it on one setting, but they get to find that setting and that's awesome!

I'm curious how you'd set up your chainring set if you were to do one bike two wheelsets where you were planning on doing one of those on the road. I feel like that might be the case for something like a road compact (50/340) up front, and then like an 11-28 or 11-30 cassette on your road wheels and a 11-36 or similar in the rear, which gives you a sub-1:1 low end on your gravel wheelset but a steep enough gear on your road wheelset for riding quickly, even in a group where you might be in a draft.

Don't care for carbon, but I check their website daily to see if they ever have the chromoly version (Waheela S) in stock. I would REALLY love an aluminum version, but unfortunately no one really does 6061 other than complete bikes like the Journeyman or Niner's which I wouldn't buy due to press fit BB.
