Many don't seem to notice that Rock dodges like 2/3 of the slap. Good for Will that he did. Say dude would have gone uncontinous and hit his head while felling down. The reaction this is getting now would be sooo much wilder, like end of the career wild.

    2 жыл бұрын

@@astracontritus1209 exactly, I cannot understand some saying it was just a slap. Well firstly it was a slap in Oscar's.. it wasn't some random bar and Rock has hosted like 5-6 times so sitting at the front a joke towards you (good or bad, good taste or bad) shouldn't be a suprise. But more importantly Will is a huge ripped dude who clearly but pretty much all of his force into the slap and people do go uncontious from exactly that kinda slaps, it ain't something super abnormal. I wouldn't have even been suprised if it happened if Rock didn't dodge most of it. First Rock leans forward propably because there is mics everywhere and he expects Will to come and whisper him something so that gave him good room fortunatelly to lean back as soon as he saw that dude is coming for a punch or a slap. But yeah it would be 100 times crazier story than it is now, I just think that people should take into account that it could have easily happened (but I understand everybody haven't noticed that Rock do dodge a lot of it which is why there isn't the slap sound some people are talking about and thus claiming it's fake).

And correct me if I'm wrong, but Chris Rock didn't know she has alopecia, I'm pretty sure he thought she was following a trend, hence the reference to G.I Jane

I think Jada had a lot to do with how things played out. Will smith was initially laughing at the joke Chris told but Jada was clearly upset and I would have understood if he change his mood and stopped laughing but he instead slapped Chris that is completely impulsive and unnatural. I also think Jada just had a lot of power and control over will smith especially after that whole round table talk interviews last year Will is clearly not well.
