I think you and a lot of people are being too harsh on people who are victims as well. Not to mention, a lot of people might not have been aware of Hyojin's past. Personally for me, Colossal looks like a huge fucking jerk here, because it's clear the people who are reacting this way feel betrayed and struggle with the information that's been given to them. Elliot sums things up fairly well. They probably feel used, tricked and lied to. The way Colossal is treating it like they thought she was an angel who could do nothing wrong is also incredibly presumptuous. Just because their first tweet wasn't "I HATE HYOJIN SHE SUCKS BALLS I KNEW SHE WAS EVIL ALL ALONG KEKEKEKe" with some shitty meme doesn't mean they aren't fucking disavowing their actions. He tried to make me let him hug me even though I’ve told him extremely uncomfortable with skinship (touching like hand holding or hugs). I said this in the last video and I’ll say it here again, but Hyojin’s behaviour doesn’t surprise me at all, sadly, considering what she did to Slazo, and a massive indicator was how Hyojin’s mother responded to seeing her daughter threatening her partner with a knife, she just said “you always do this” and walked away, whilst her daughter was holding A KNIFE. It sounds like she’s picked up her mothers behaviours. She actually sounds EXACTLY like my own mother (early 50’s), she baited suicide constantly, told me I was a burden, emotionally manipulated me to hell and back, encouraged and enabled my brothers physical violence towards me (because “I’m not hitting you so you’re not abused” logic) and refused to take me to hospital when I’d been knocked unconscious, hardcore gaslighting, trying to withhold my meds etc. She’s the type of woman who acts confused as to why her daughter cut contact several years ago, because there’s “no real reason” and more gaslighting. This is the sort of path Hyojin could end up going down, she’s already there’s with gaslighting to hell and back, baiting suicide, blaming her partner, threatening her partner with weapons, and that’s terrifying. Hyojin sounding exactly like my mother who is toxic AF is extremely worrying considering how young Hyojin is, if you’re the kid of an abuse you make damn sure you never repeat the behaviours you were forced to endure, but Hyojin has adopted these behaviours whilst her own mother just doesn’t care, whilst complaining her parents aren’t good for her… you’d think she’d learn from this alone, that she lives in a toxic household and shouldn’t be copying any of the behaviours, it doesn’t take a lot of effort to not be a terrible woman yet here she is, being an abuser. And like Hyojin, my mother has ruined almost every relationship she’s been in and refuses to acknowledge that she’s always at fault, how she drives people away with her behaviour, refuses to get mental health help or get medicated (bipolar, unmedicated, actual nightmare) refuses to seek therapy, and ALWAYS plays the victim card. If you call out her behaviour she’ll act like she’s the real victim, she couldn’t possibly be the abuser, and I see that with Hyojin. My mother is in her 50’s, she 100% knows what she’s doing and is never sorry for how she’s behaved and I think Hyojin will be the exact same, which is depressing to think about considering Hyojin is 23, she’s old enough to not only know better but to actively be better, she could easily seek mental health help, she’s from Australia, she has easy access to healthcare that’s paid for through taxes (much like our healthcare here in Scotland, it’s NHS), and considering she earns a decent wage she could easily opt for private healthcare to speed up appointments. There’s actually no excuse here, that’s what’s rage inducing, is knowing she’s a grown woman with access to mental health help and instead she refuses to get help, baits suicide, continues abusing and continues this toxic cycle. I think she’s gunna go through life constantly harassing and abusing anyone she dates and I don’t think she will change her behaviours. She’ll just constantly bait and threaten suicide where folk will be too scared to challenge her. I know that’s a massive reason why my mother has been able to continue her behaviour through life, she’d have a partner, she’d abuse her partner mentally, financially and physically, and she’d bait suicide and threaten to call the police saying she’d blame her partner. Now the police are fully aware of her (because of my own childhood), they wouldn’t believe her, but most victims don’t have that sort of privilege, if a male domestic abuse victim calls for help the police are automatically suspicious, and the female abuser can easily lie and play the victim and be believed, that never stopped my mother trying (she was never believed, with good reason), and I honestly predict this with Hyojin, that this cycle won’t stop unless she’s maybe help legally accountable? Considering what she did to Slazo, I’ve been waiting for karma to catch up to her, and it couldn’t have happened to a better person, but I doubt Hyojin will actually change. Being held accountable doesn’t work if you never accept responsibility for your own actions and Hyojin is manipulative AF and can’t seem to accept that she’s in the wrong, so I predict a miserable life with this vicious cycle constantly happening. Hyojin is repeating classic DARVO tactics with her partner tho: Deny the behaviour, Attack the victim, and Reverse the roles of the Victim and Offender. Hope she enjoys a miserable life. TLDR: she reminds me of my own mother, a great example of what female abusers are like, and I don’t think this cycle will stop unless she’s held legally accountable.

I fuckin knew it, ever since the Slazo situation I never bothered looking at her the same way anymore, she lost all my respect with how poorly she handled the situation. People forget what she's done ever since she's been uploading videos withdrawing from that situation, I always thought that the stunt she pulled with the suicide thing was just getting the attention off her back. If I recall correctly she never even apologized with the Slazo thing. People need to realize you can't take KZreadrs for granted.

It was honestly the minor incident that did it for me. I knew about the slazo incident and that left me uneasy but after that I just stopped watching her

It really goes to show how often the abused become the abuser themselves. Hyojin was abused by her family, and it's really sad to see that she hasn't broken that pattern and gotten away yet. This does not excuse any of her actions though, it just goes to show how often this happens. How often it goes overlooked.

Next time Hyojin pulls the "I'm going to kill myself" card I'm just going to tell her to do it

I hope this time her career doesn't recover from this. Hopefully, the other ones involved in that Slazo incident also go down at some point.

I’ve been a fan of squizzy since 2019 and never heard of this drama cause I don’t use twitter, jeez thank god this has been brought to light so I can realize what a horrible person I’ve been subscribed to

5:05 I'm sure it wasn't p*do allegations against Slazo; it was r*pe allegations, which turned out to not even be true. Just Slazo being a lousy boyfriend, which he admitted. But Hyojin/Squizzy being instrumental to that mess was spot on. I think she/they was the one leading the smear campaign. :/ But Colossal typing *UNLUCKY* is hysterical. :'D
