KZread is also social media though. The problem is not using social media, it's generally what you use it for. If you use it to express political leanings, your love life, relationships with friends, family etc. then of course everyone's bound to know your business or feelings.

If it's the latter, then probably apologise because it just slipped out. It comes down to intent and if he didn't intend to say it in that way then he has nothing to apologise for lol

I got into Tekken 7 because Noctis was in it. As a Final Fantasy fan I wasn't really a Fighting games fan, so I decided I'd buy Tekken and try out Noctis, and I absolutely loved how he played and felt, they had kept most of his signature moves from FFXV so the way they implemented the royal arms and his warp strike amazed me. So I kept playing Noctis a bit to learn fundamentals and after 40 hours of playtime, I had started shifting between him and Bryan Fury in Ranked and Normal play and honestly I'm having a blast. So as of right now I'm like 100 hours in. It's crazy for me the way a guest character brought me in the Tekken community and made me appreciate Fighting games more, so I have to agree with you on here, TMM. I'd love if they do the same they did in this game with Tekken 8!

Honestly I think that this is just one big misunderstanding fueled by the internet. I think TMM seemed kind of aggressive with his first tweet, and knee probably took it the wrong way (especially with the language barrier). Then when TMM got frustrated and said something stupid on stream, which people then took out of context to make him look really horrible. This in turn led to the entire Korean tekken scene getting angry, as no one really understood each other from the beginning

Not just twitter its the problem of online communication in the last years which also drops into normal society slowly. Its only black and white and every word is taken 100% serious without any compromises. Thats why i dont start streaming or going public in any form, since people search for misunderstandings and take everything personal. I dont even care if someone says german tekken players are something. Irony, sarcasm, facial and body expressions are not taken into consideration so the most important part of communications are left out.

Or even the many tiny stories that started because he spoke often in a very doubtable way, like the female characters topic, he dislikes them at the point he did ask for their removing from the game few years ago, that never really fainted even today. We can say that Knee is acting like a diva, but if he does, TMM does it even better if you ask me. Both are humans, and Twitter is wild, to me the way it went is just usual, the way it escalated ain’t so surprising if you look at it, TMM responded in a pretty condescendent manner to Knee, I mean, that’s the way it looked, and that’s how Knee felt it, so whatever at this point, the way Knee answered was cringy, but TMM is more often cringy on his stream and KZread, and much more disliked in comparison for reasons, that’s why you could even see pretty popular Tekken influencers sidding to Knee, like Aris.

This ain’t real life, this is something over Twitter. If this was something irl it’ll be easier to understand if someone was trying to be offensive or not. I get wym but just Bc someone responded to you with sarcasm over TWITTER, doesn’t mean it’s mature enough for you to call someone a scrub and tell them to shut up. Like don’t post something if you can’t take comments and replies. Simple

Honestly Mainman, your wording in your tweet did not give off a “let’s debate” tone. It’s because when people usually say “Yes, let’s...” it is supposed to be very condescending. So when I read it, I hear it in my head in that way. That is why it was seen as more of an attack towards him rather than a debate invitation. Also Knee shouldn’t have dismissed and insulted you but, you also needed to change your wording to better show that you wanted to debate. Maybe: “Why remove them instead of balance them?” Or “Why? tmm didn't handle this maturely. he can't lie and say that he actually believes knee hates guest characters, but loves broken characters. everyone knows knee only used guest characters to demonstrate his point. tmm wanted to be smart and make a counterpoint by nitpicking on the word choice "guest characters". knee in fact stated he is fine with guest characters that do not break the game (like noctis and negan). there is no way tmm actually thought knee is okay with broken characters that are not guest characters. tmm's very first reply was a smartass reply to begin with. (but here tmm is pretending that he was only wrong on the 2nd part. he even said he was expecting an intelligent debate??? tmm was being a smartass from the start. i bet knee was disappointed by tmm's reply first.) in addition, it's the same overused argument that has silenced the efforts of those trying to balance the game for ages. when tmm drops it like that, not knowing how many players knee watched quit the game, saying it's okay cause 6 million who joined later don't care, it pisses you off. u gotta feel disappointed and actually feel tmm is a scrub by trying to promote the opposite. also, apparently, this was just the trigger. i read that knee was already unhappy that tmm made fun of korean players' english and also used their clips without asking and that this final tweet was just the trigger.

How you’re getting “git gud” out of a tweet response that literally doesn’t mention skill level once is beyond me. I have the same sentiment. Did you see the American pros that were butt hurt about not having access to season 4? They were hiding behind the facade of “give it to everybody, not just a select few players”. When in reality if Namco gave them early access, they would have taken it in a heartbeat. They would have streamed it just as early as TMM did. Heck Aris would have said some crap about it being a “secret, highly classified, early access” build showing it off to his stream. Guess what? They would have gobbled it up without any hesitation. Smh. But TMM gets early access, all of a sudden crocodile tears come out and whining ensues about it being available for everyone at the same time.

Knee already had a bone to pick going into this, given that he's already expressed his displeasure with some of TMM's content about him before. On one of his streams he mentioned one of TMM's videos commentating on Knee playing Paul (it might have been vs Anakin or his TWT win vs Arslan), and misinterpreting TMM's swearing (saying that Knee is a "fucking monster" and things like that, as well as mentioning the fact that Paul is broken) as insulting him, due to his limited English. Also he took offense to the thumbnail of TMM's video about Leroy at EVO, where Knee and Arslan are drawn with their eyes crossed out like they're "dead". He then proceeded to say that he had never seen TMM at any high level tournaments and that he hadn't seen any indication that he's a good player. So that's probably what led up to the "scrupman" comment.
