I have a couple of Indonesian friends who've been playing games with me for about 3 years, they're just down to earth, and not easily get triggered. Besides, from common knowledge, Indonesian people are always so smiley and friendly. If you've been living in the US for years and move to Indonesia, you'll feel like you're in a weird creepy world where everybody's always smiling whenever they greet you.

So it's very unlikely we Indonesians (who are active on the internet) never heard about the whole Hogwarts Legacy controversy. This is totally out of topic, but the "creepy world" part reminded me of my uncle's funny story. He went to US (or a country in Europe, I forgot which) years ago to visit his friend, and somehow (I forgot the detail) got reported to the cops because ppl think he's a pedo. All he did was smile to a bunch of kids who was playing in front of his friend's house. Funny how mundane things could get you in trouble.

Part of this why it never work with the Indonesians is that beside the fact that South East Asians in general are not afraid to be vocal for themselves, language barrier to us don't exist that much as many of us(especially those who's versed on using internet) knows and speak English. Maybe This is the very reason why it seems that Filipino Streamers seem to be COMPLETELY UNTOUCHABLE by twitter.
