I first listened to Yannis when they went on tour with Nightwish, and i couldnt believe my ears... My friends and I looked each othe like WTF THIS IS MAGIC!!!

Yannis has the sort of voice you feel in your bones. He's a central part of my argument when I try to explain my musical tastes to non-metal fan friends.

It's not the highest I've ever heard a guy sing, but something about that voice has a distinctly female quality to me that I don't get from most men just singing notes like that.

Saw and heard Beast in Black for the first time at the Nightwish concert in Amsterdam and was stunned!!!! They ROCKED and for me they really did bring something new!

This is modern Power Metal at it's best with a lot of symphonic spirit and an extraordinary voice! Yannis: 2 thumbs up!

He has done a cover on Ghost Love Score :)

Hey man, you should definitely listen to Oceandeep and Ghost in the Rain, they are AWESOME songs that are more soft compared to the rest of Beast in Black's songs, but it shows Yannis' voice off more than most of the other songs.

It especially was a big mindf*ck if you have ever heard the previous band of the gitarist of Beast in Black. It's called Battle Beast and had a female singer.

He was in a prog band Until Rain that I love. His covers of Periphery's Scarlett and Kansas' Carry On My Wayward Son are incredible.

I was at work and this just played on my KZread. One day I looked at the screen when this was playing....... Finally realized it was one person singing....

There is definitely a LOT of Nightwish influence with Beast in Black.

Yannis had a side Project called Warrior Path (or he just did the vocals on the Debut album) The album also was called Warrior Path... very different from Beast in Black yet his vocal range is on full display it´s worth a listen
