Absolutely fantastic, I know it is not your invention but you still look like a magician. The end results are magazine quality images!!!

This is great info! Thank you for doing it. I recently acquired a Reichert Microstar 410, but it has an electrical issue I havent worked out yet. Never played with ND filters going to have to try that out. Keep it coming I will be watching. PS subbed.

Too bad this seminar doesn't have a 4/4 video. I bet it would be something like "...and that's how you get your light microscope to work as an SEM". 😂 Amazing technique, thank you for sharing it with us.

How come the light filter doesn’t affect the color of the actual specimen like the greens and only affect the background?

Because the light that reflects off of a specimen will be the same color the majority of the time unless the LED is a completely different color. It’s like how leaves reflect the color green to our eyes from the sun. You’d have to REALLY modify the color being projected onto the specimen to get the specimen to reflect a different color to the human eye.

Haha I tend to aim for somewhat louder music during Twitch streams as there are different expectations on that platform. Check out some of my recent youtube live streams and let me know how they are!
