Twists helped grow my tailbone length hair | COME TWIST WITH ME | Protective style

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

For some reason, doing these twists was very calming lol Twists can be extremely versatile and a great protective style for many. They definitely helped me in my time of need and subsequently helped me retain a lot of length because I was basically able to set it and forget it lol. Feel free to use this as a base and switch it up and get creative with it... Or just leave as is (love a lazy natural lol). Typically, I would wash week 1, moisturize and retwist week 2, then wash week 3 and repeat that cycle. If I needed to wash my scalp more, I would. Just listen to the needs of your hair and scalp!

    MINI TWISTS GROW YOUR HAIR! I been doing them for a year...and I have had more growth this past year then I have EVER had. I leave mine in 4-6 weeks...wear loose for a few days...and either redo...or do my other favorite style, knotless boxbraids...if you are someone trying to rapidly grow your hair this is the style.

    Growing up i often wondered why my hair wouldn't grow the way my friend with straight hair would. Little did we know, all we had to do was, stop relaxing our hair and let it grow out naturally. We have beautiful hair. Now my hair is long and i love it. But not as long as yours. So now i am going to do exactly what you're doing cause girl, you're obviously doing the right thing. They definitely helped me grow my hair to a little past bra-strap length. I can't wait to get my hair to waist length/tailbone length. Every other video I have seen on two strand twists has made the process so complicated. This video right here is so simple and practical. It reminds me of when you take a pie or pizza and keep dividing it in equal parts. Or when we folded paper hotdog and hamburger style in school. For the first time I feel confident wearing my hair out in twists. I don't have the exact same hair type, but when you know your hair and work with it, then it can work. Thanks again so so so so much!!!! You all be safe and take care!!!

    This was like watching my own hair routine except I do braids 😂😂. After my first big chop I realized that my hair does not like being out. Doing twist outs and braid outs consistently just dries my hair and makes it tangled af. Also I wear hijab so having a fro everyday was just not realistic. 3 years ago I big chopped my hair for the second time and have been doing these mini braids ever since. Because of this my hair grows consistently 6-7 inches a year. It’s currently passing armpit length and I couldn’t be happier with my overall health and growth ❤️❤️

    Sis I want to give you a virtual hug! I am currently combing out my 3 1/2 year old dreadlocks from a big chop. Combing them out I realized my hair is down to my waist! And I realized that the only reason why is because I was too lazy to keep manipulating it and I rarely retwisted it. I wanted to keep my hair healthy and keep it continually growing, but I didn't know how to w/o damaging it again, plus I was scared cuz my schedule is so busy. So when I saw how simple, easy, and durable this was sis i nearly cried. Ong imma do this! Thank you!

    I just used the Miche collection last Friday for the first time and it was awesome! My hair is actually shiny. That never happens. Tried the whole deep conditioning then leaving it in. Fantastic. Recorded the wash day on my like 3-week old channel haha. Big chopped in December so I’m trying to grow out my hair this year and decided I’d record the journey. You know your hair is amazing so probably no point in telling you what you already know. Thanks for the video, I have issues with trusts because my ends are too puffy but looking forward to even being able to do this

    I've been natural for 15 years now and this is true. twist do grow your hair. My first big chop, I was doing sooooooooooo many twist as protective style to protect my ends and laziness lol and my hair got to my hip. I cut it again and now I'm right below my breast, a little further and I will be doing more twist again.

    I would probably break mine down to 24 instead of 16 bc I have very high density hair but I love this concept!!! I have dandruff and my hair doesn’t hold twists and braids will so I’d probably redo every week 😊

    Love your vids. So to the point with cute quirky little mannerisms 😊 I let some many ppl cut / trim my hair that I decided no more so now I’m on this challenge to regrow. I’m APL and that’s as long as Ive been while natural due to all the trimming turned cutting. I’m in twists now too - started out with them small but enlarged them this last wash day. Keeping them bunnies til I get about 2 inches more length

    I literally tried everything to grow my 14 year old daughter hair since she was a infant and it would only grow a little past her shoulders but I was adiment about growing her hair because I my husband and her older brother and sister hair always grows very fast and down our backs but not hers until I started doing twit styles on her hair and leave up for 3 to 4 weeks I have been seeing a tremendous difference in her hair growth plus I mix up natural hair growth oil for us that I use on my and my daughter thick curly hair and on my husband scalp and dreads locs 2 to 3 times a week and it WORKS..so this is my go to style for both me and my two daughters hair. Thank you so much for helping inspire my daughter and giving her hope that her hair will keep growing healthier,stronger,longer.

    What oil is it that you mix?

  • @curvaceousbeauty1384

    @curvaceousbeauty1384

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@TheThyckVixen it's basically all natural ingredients and majority are passed down from my great grandmother, and grandmother to my mother and now I and my many siblings have it but we aren't allowed to tell what each actual ingredient is but it is a oil that really grows hair fast my great grandmothers and grandmothers are Blackfoot, Cherokee and Pawnee so it's all natural herbs/plants and oils mixed etc. together but I will share just a tidbit with you because I tweeked the oil with my own ingredients from research I have done since I've been using it but all you have to do is use all natural ingredients that are found purely in nature and choose what works for you and all the ingredients are to be heat infused together making sure not to burn or over heat them use low to medium heat constantly stirring them then strain them with a metal strainer as you gently mash all the ingredients with a rubber frosting spreader to get all the oil and nutrients and put it in a mason jar in a dark place DO NOT add any water because that WILL SPOIL the mixture and put lots of healthy foods into your body if you eat apples put apple hulls and core and juice into your mixture if you eat oranges use orange oil and hulls into your oil just by doing these simple things your helping your hair from the inside out. Oh don't forget to keep notes so you will remember what you used to make your oil that way if you choose to share what you used you can😘

    Heeeey hair twin! 😍 I also love twists but my favorite go to style would have to be 10 to 14 loose braids (I braid the roots tightly and the ends to seal) then I stretch over green flexi rods. When the rods come out I'll either bun, or loosely braid the braids, hiding my ends somehow. This is my monthly style, I'm lazy 😇 I'm also tailbone
