I’ve been natural for almost 10 years and I love it, but I’m a bit challenged when it comes to styling my thick 4b hair, so I tend to only rock my fro’. But this video blessed me something serious and I can’t wait to perfect my twists. Thank you Queen Sistah, you have a forever fan!

You have some great tips. I've recently changed how I take care of my hair and how I put in my twists. I took down some four day twists today, just so happening to be utilizing some of the tips you said, and got one of the best twist outs of my life. Proper methods truly do work.

How do you tie your hair up after twisting it?
Per section, do you know how many twists you do? Love the tips!
Great video! How did you dry? How did you sleep? ❤
Thank you so much, I don't like doing my hair, it's gray and thick, so the two hand twist will work for me, but I can't see the products real good, I want to get all of them, what do you wrap your hair with at night, this style will be my every day style. Please help me
How do you tie it down at night? Mine are always bent when I wake up.
Do you diffuse your twists or sit under the dryer after your done installing the twist?
Girlll you are everything I love you who. You.
Have you used the Adwoa twisting creams or gels?

I did this look on me how get the pattern down.
Are you using the hair milk in the shower as the leave in or is this after the shower as an additional leave in
So my hair isn’t even due to shaping and high cut fade. How would I go about doing a twist out for short hair let’s say down to the bridge of the nose or would I have to stay doing a wash n go until I have more length?
I think I found my problem....sharing the hair...😳😒🙅🏽♀️ Yup, gonna try this again. Thank you so much!!!!
Your ends are so healthy.
Can you try the EZ detangling brush and blow dryer?

Does it matter whether or not you twist right over left or left over right?
Please disregard my question on how you dry your hair. I see that you air dry it. Is the hair butter good for low porosity hair or would it be too heavy?
Does it matter what direction you twist your hair.

i let my hair air dry for about 1 day
Just wanting to make sure...it's best to do this on a washed wet head and leave them up for 1 day or 2? I've seen several different videos. My daughter's are natural and entering teenage so no more ponytails. I need all the help
is this ok for 4c hair too?
What make is that brush?
Ok are you rolling the top strand of your twist? It looks like your doing a little more than just wrapping one strand over the other.
Your sections don't dry out as you twist because of the leave in?
I like to book an appointment
My twists in the back come out pretty no matter the size, but it’s like in the front, them junts come out like ramen lol.
@CurlieCrys
3 жыл бұрын
lol it could be because of your texture or how loose you're twisting. may have to add rods at the ends
Let see if I have this straight: after rising out the deep conditioner, you then put in your leave-in conditioner then put on a plastic cap on soaking wet hair. then you twist. *You don't towel dry your hair at any point in this process?*
1. Yes I would love to see a “what not to do” video. 2. How long does it take for your hair to dry? Do you let it air dry or do you use a dryer? Because I’ll finish twisting my hair at midnight, and it won’t be dry until at least 4pm.

Have you ever sat under a hairdryer to speed up the drying process after you twist?
Sis I had to come find this video 2 years later 😅
I have tried twist out so many times, they never work. Im convinced it due to the fact that my hair is medium to high density and my strands are medium thickness. No matter how small the twist, they are always chunky....when I take them out they are a frizzy, undefined chuck of nothingness...Lol. Braid outs are a no to because it just all gets tangled because I'm mostly 4a (also 4b), and the curls stick to each other. Sigh! Thank goodness I like wearing her in a shrunken afro.

I still deal with frizz with my twists. I think I need to get products that aren’t water based. I use a spray leave in conditioner daily (Creme of Nature) and it may be water based which is causing my frizziness. I would like to try the mango 🥭 butter in my hair to see if my twists will be as moisturized as yours. I’m going to try JBCO instead of the grapeseed oil or maybe some Avocado oil.
@CurlieCrys

yes, you want to style your hair using water based products. however, you do not want to spray a water based product on your hair once its dry. that WILL cause frizz 100%

@@joshuapeacock17 no problem. Btw, that’s the whole name of the Leave In Conditioner by Shea Moisture. It’s made with Palm Oil in it. Other ones I recommend is Leave in by Mielle her white peony leave in conditioner or her pomegranate and honey leave in which is tailored for type 4 hair. The Pomegranate smells sooo good like candy!
