The water tower says El Reno, not Reno. It's referring to the 2013 El Reno tornado that became the widest on record (2.6 miles wide). While it missed the actual town, it unfortunately killed the TwistX stormchasing team who did not realize the size of it and were hit with a subvortex with wind speeds likely exceeding 300mph. Only recorded deaths in the history of storm chasing

El reno getting put in here is wild context: El reno was hit by the most powerful tornado ever recorded in 2013 with windspeeds of over +300 mph and was 2.6 miles wide. Sadly during this very unpredictable tornado 3 legendary chasers whom created the twistex team died. You can find their memorial on the outskirts of town and it will probably mentioned in the new movie.

Not Reno, Nevada, it's El Reno, Oklahoma. Back in 2013, they had a 2.6 mile wide tornado hit the countryside.

The town with the water tower is El Reno. It’s also the town where I live….we are just west of OKC. Lots more f the movie was filmed here…..so cool to see it on the big screen
