Though based on the dialogue and events, Silver's situation seems to be far worse than Aurora. Silver was put to sleep (suspended animation) as a baby for centuries until Lilia found him and lifted the spell. By that time, his birth country was completely destroyed, no living survivors and forgotten in history. Even Silver's mental breakdown was too much to take in upon learning the truth, almost Madoka Magica level of psychological horror. At least Sebek retains his senses well enough to break the former's depressive state.

Couldn’t agree more with the sentiment Silver is really a descendant of both princess Aurora and Prince Philip

Malleus and Silver lost both of their parents... It makes me cry so bad in the middle of the night 😭

So Lilia unique magic is called far cry cradle( allows him to see the history/past of something)

My poor Diasomnia babies!!! 😭😭😭 I'm wondering if the reason Silver still goes in and out of sleep so much despite being 'free' of the spell is because Lilia is still having trouble fully accepting him as his son because of his heritage. We hear Silver refer to Lilia as his father several times (though he tries to hide it from their school peers), but I don't think we've ever actually heard Lilia outright call Silver his son yet. If the Diasomnia Arc ends with Lilia and Malleus calling him their family and Silver being fully released from the sleeping spell, I WILL CRY.

@@memyself7667 A translator on Tumblr pointed out that in the original JP translation Lilia praised Silver during Spectral Soiree, but seemed to stop short of calling him son (he apparently trails off when it looked like he was about to say it). The official ENG translation did have Lilia call Silver 'son' during the event, but it was likely an add-on by the localization. If that is the case, I'm a bit sad that the localization translators may have jumped the gun a bit and taken some of the impact away if Lilia does actually come out and say it in the main story and it was meant to be the very first time he acknowledges it.

I'm actually kinda hoping that Lilia's acceptance issue is more about something about Lilia himself rather than about him not accepting Silver because of who his parents are, because that would be so sad since Silver's heritage is immutable and also very much not Silver's fault.

I love how history somewhat repeats itself in this universe but there’s still differences, like a royal was still put into a deep sleep until true love came to find them, it’s just so cute that instead of a love interest it was his new family!

For a long time, it was my belief that Silver would be the son of whoever “Prince Phillip” and “Aurora” are. If Phillip is in fact the Knight of Dawn, all that’s left is for Queen Reia to be Aurora for my theory to be confirmed. Either way, Silver already has traits from both…

His kingdom got ravaged by the war hence why he was put to sleep in the first place. The Knight of Dawn was dead and the enemies are coming to the castle so the 3 fairies put him to sleep and only when someone who loves him can wake him up hence Lilia.

I've been wondering why Silver still has the tendency to sleep despite being awoken from the curse through Lilia's arrival, parental love and care. It is said that true love will set him free from his sleep, right? I'm assuming it's half broken because a part of Lilia still hates Silver (despite knowing that Silver really isn't the one to blame).... And the purpose of the necklace that Silver has is to amplify the fairies' power right? Before crap happened, Silver found the ring and felt really sleepy after it emitted some sort of power. So leik, the curse is half broken... Because.... idk... Is it really what I think it is? Because Lilia loves him like a son, but couldn't bring himself to love him fully because he's the son of the knight who killed Malleus parents? His friends? Therefore, the curse being half broken? Idk anymore XD This is me brain rotting atm XD
