I can sympathise fully with this poor girl. I have a progressive degenerative joint disease. My left foot is literally how you described the inside of her foot! On an X-ray all the bones in my foot are fully and semi- fused together and the connective tissues are all over the place. So, what I’m getting at here is …….. I want a block too please!!

The poor girl! That claw reminded me of my childhood cat’s claws. They were not shaped right. My cat couldn’t retract them, and he kept getting infections under the claws. The Vet suggested declawing, and we agreed. My cat, a kitten back then, went from wanting to be carried constantly and laying in his bed all day to rambunctious and crazy active kitten once he healed. His paws didn’t hurt anymore. I’m against declawing for the most part but there are situations when it’s needed, and I accept that. Another good reason for it is in cases of extra toes, when the claw in question is causing injury to the toe next door. I do wonder if it might be possible to remove the affected claw entirely though.

@@QueenSunstar yes it is possible to remove the claw, and in some cases it is done. He has an older video showing a cow who had an amputation. In this case, they may have decided against it, the farmer and the vet I mean, because it may be able to be managed without it.

Or maybe get a pulses lavage system like they use to clean wounds on humans. Sorry for suggesting. I’m a retired RN and CWS (Certified Wound Specialist). According to the Bible God says: "Behold, this is my servant, whom I have chosen, my beloved, in whom I am well pleased. I will put My Spirit upon Him and He will declare justice to the nations. Matthew 12:18 Jesus is not God, not even the Son of God! Jesus was a prophet and not God! Now when the people saw the sign that Jesus did, they said, "Truly this is the prophet who is to come into the world." John 6:14 Jesus is said to have helped a woman. In Mark 7:26, the woman is said to be a Greek, where the same woman in Matthew 15:21-22 is a Canaanite'in (Syrian Palestinian)! One event, but two different statements??? God's book is supposed to have errors? Jesus said, “I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent me. “John 5:29, 6:38 Pig in the Bible " and the pig, for though it divides the hoof, thus making a split hoof, it does not chew cud, it is unclean to you. You shall not eat of their flesh nor touch their carcasses; they are unclean to you."!!!! Leviticus 11:7-8 (On KZread: type in "World of Miracles Islam" and watch how the evidence has been shrouded by the Church!) I invite all non-Muslims to Islam. After Jesus comes a prophet! " But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the (c)Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. 8 And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; 9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me;… I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you." John 16:7-9, 12-14 "Right," said Jesus; "After all, it is already written, "The stone that the builders threw away because they considered it useless has now become the foundation stone of the whole house. What no one thought possible, God is doing before your eyes.' Therefore I say to you: The kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who obey God. Whoever does not reckon with God must fail, and whoever rebels against God, God will destroy." Matthew 21:42-44 The verses are about the "Paraclete" in the original Greek, which means "Ahmad" in Arabic. Muhammed (as.) is also in the Bible as you see. Jesus brought only one book, where do these others come from? If there is no prophet, where did the New Testament come from??? Today's Bible is not one book, but a collection of 66 different books! 39 Old Testament and 27 New. The books of the Bible were written over a period of 1500 years, by more than 40 scribes, most of whom did not know each other! Old Testament: Hebrew, partly Aramaic; the New Testament: Greek. Can ever a messenger doubt God? If Jesus is God, (according to the lies of the devil and his followers) why does he need help from God if he is God? " Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me" Matthew 27: 45-46 The Bible and Torah have been altered by man. The originals are no longer extant and there are only translations where the authenticity is not provable. Trinity 100 % excluded! Monotheism 100% There is only one God Jesus answered: "The first is: Hear, Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord! Mark 12:29 "No one has ever seen God" John 1:18 Jesus said, "My Lord and my God." Suggestion: clean the cavity out completely and fill with a keratin powder. Wrap the foot and hopefully the hoof will start to fill in naturally and more quickly with the powder inserted. Also suggest you add a water tank to your mobile unit that has a pump on it so you can effectively more clean out the hooves. Fill up at each farm you go to. 8:30 Good luck! I love Endinburgh! ❤️ Best Regards Robert

I used to work in "human" nursing facilities. When we encountered "holes" with necrotic tissue the wounds were treated with antibiotic gel and packed. I see that you do that with the salicylic acid, iodine and spray antibiotic. Would you ever use your hoof glue to rill a void to keep out muck, or would that lead to more problems?

yeah I was just commenting on that too! It probably wouldn't help on the bottom of the hoof, but when it's on top like this there's not really a way out for the muck. @@fayekimball3538

This method they are using here is lightyears from the traditional way of trimming I just watched a guy in the orient trim a cow with an axe just holding the foot. Makes you apriciate the confort and care given to our "modern" cows

You could always go that little bit further but as you said shes been in the crush previously. I do admire your skill of not too much or not enough. Every trim is different and knowing youll be back to this farm means you can do a step by step (no pun intended) trim to get her as comfortable as you can and hope for the best on the next visit

Thanks for another great video 😊 I do miss your intro music though. I posted a few weeks ago that I had purchased a couple of t shirts for my husband who was in Pendleside Hospice. He wore them proudly. My husband Allan passed a few weeks ago and I just wanted to give the hospice staff a shout out for the fantastic care they provided to my husband, and also towards me.. thank you Pendleside!
