Twisted Metal 5 (AI Fan Project)
This is a non profit experimental project I have been working on. I call it Twisted Metal 5 on PS1. Ive always wanted to see what another numbeted Twisted Metal game would have looked liked. This project is made using unity. the Models and Level are 100% designed by me. As for textures, i used photoshop to create basic but detailed textures and used an app called Imagine AI generator to give it more details , then in photoshop i pixelate the textures. As for coding, here's where the experiment comes from. I am not a programer and i have zero knowledge on it but all the scripts have been done 100% using chatgpt. this videogame is an experiment to see how far AI can go with programing.
anyways imagine there was another playstation 1 twisted metal game. here you can see some of your favorite characters like Sweet Tooth.
i have a heck of a lit to fix still.Enemy AI is not perfect yet. im working on it as well as weapons.

Im still working on the behavior for the enemies. What happened was that the behavior switches between roaming and chasing. Roaming has a feature to avoid walls, which Chasing still does not have. Definetly something ill be fixing . Thanks you for the coment man! I really appreciate it!

@@Angelvmr17 Can you tell me how you have your car's Rigidbody setup? Do you have wheels and suspension setup? Mine is just a big brick so I know I'm doing it wrong

@@mdpofficial i do the same thing its just one brick. So far the whiles dont rotate at all in any car. The wheels are attached to the model so its one object. I didnt want to go through the trouble of making separate collisions and rigid bodies for the tires. What im planing on doing is animate the model with rotating tires in 3ds max or blender, then import the annimated model back into unity, and i want to make the animation play depending on the speed and acceleration of the rigid body. I have no idea if thats gonna work. Im probably doing it wrong haha but if it work it works lol. Im trying to keep this as simple as posible since its my first game. I dont think i will make turning wheels. Just rotate

@Angelvmr17 awesome job, when my brick hits a ramp or sidewalk it gets stuck alot. Can you tell me what your gravity is in the preferences? Do you use downforce? Sorry to ask so much but zi was ripping my hair out before AI for years
Apart from the use of AI, this game looks promising!

The idea was experimenting with AI. I dont know hiw to code so i wanted to see how far i can go with it. It will be free thou

Small question: Do you plan to have at least one original character (and car) for the experiment? I ask because all the installments of TM have at least one new character or car.

I have a few ideas for original cars. I will be making some new ones But i suck at comming up with special weapons. I dont want to re use same special weapons for different cars like TM2012 did
