Twisted Metal 2 PlayStation 1 Glitches
Ойындар
When you play Twisted Metal 2 on the PS1 while having the console upside down when a stage is loading you can trigger some weird glitches. I couldn't get the glitches that I saw in the 90s to appear like the exploding car animation that you see when you're faraway from the last dead enemy. Maybe it depends on the disc? I don't remember seeing the messed up text glitch and the game keeps giving me that one.

My copy of the game was scratched and I remember sometimes instead of playing the single Trac opening, it would play sweet tooth's ending with really distorted sounds and then freeze with his face on the screen. Gave me so many nightmares as a kid but I still loved the game

Could be anti piracy measures
The only glitches I can remember off the top of my head are in LA Rumble where you can remote bomb over the map. Also in New York on that one rooftop where you drop down to find swimming pool you can blow up the box to remove the drop and hop onto an invisible box. Enemies will try to ram you and fall into the pool.
Back in the 90’s when you’d play twisted metal at the game store there was a time where the game had already glitched outside of the fence in moscow, thought it was hilarious since you couldn’t reset it yourself
This just seems like the ordinary chaos one expects from TM2. If I had ever discovered glitches back then, I probably took them for gameplay.
The game of my childhood
No glitches are findable in this video! if someone finds what, please write down a timestamp. Otherwise, don't waste your time.
Lol levitating Grasshopper
I don't know if anybody every found this or not. And I was going to write into one of those gaming magazines back in the day but never did. Anyway in the Paris level their is a secret full health you can get if you ram a certain part of the bridge you can be down to your last health and it will completely fill it. I found it by mistake one time when I was playing and rammed into it. If you go to timestamp 2:51 in this video look to the left and you see that bridge that goes to the other side you see of the left side looks like its made up of 12 sections or so if you ram the second section of it starting from this end of the bridge it will get you full health. Now its been over 25 years since i played Im very confident its the second one, but I DO KNOW for sure its one of those sections.

I’ll try it out someday
Messed up text? I honestly thought that was Japanese or something when I first saw it
LuisParson...question. Been playing this for over 20 years and I wonder if you've encountered/have a explenation for the fact that the enemies will sometimes just completely stop and let you fire away. I find its usually more when you've dealt them some damage already, but I've seen it where they have full health, too. They'll either let you kill them entirely or snap out of it after a bit. Any idea why?

I have seen it too and I've always thought that is part of the AI, something similar like in Carmageddon TDR 2000, when some opponents suddenly remain quiet and peaceful and their status point: "Stalled" or "lurking".

Interesting. I haven't heard of that game myself..guess it's just 90s tech being 90s tech lol.

It's normal that they do it and they do it on hard difficulty too.

One thing I've noticed is that Warthog seems to do it the most.
So what you're saying is when your PS1 is upside down, Paris, France becomes a really messed up place.
Oh!
